My ecru shearling/black leather Chypres arrived yesterday...

I think they're TTS now.

They fit just fine in a 39 (my Oran size), but would've been a pinch more spacious in a 39.5 (which weren't available at the time/I don't think I've seen half sizes or a 39.5 since I've been looking over the last ~2 months).

So this is interesting. I realise they are 2 different types of Chypre but the all-leather white pair was purchased in 2021, size 40.
The sheepskin I got yesterday is a size 38.5

If they were a men's 40, yes... I think sometimes? Not 100% sure with Chypre? But I think generally mens shoe sizing differs from womens?

Are any Chypres ever available in EU? Every time I see them pop up all sizes are just grayed out (sold out).

I think the way they have distributed the Chypre on the European website (mainly the French) is terrible.
Literally impossible to get as they always seem already sold out or if you manage to place an order they often like to cancel your order.
Best best is still to go to your local Hermes boutique .

Funny thing: the next day after my post I was lucky to score a black pair in size 38.5! Unfortunately they turned out too be a tad too short, so I will be sending them back and trying to catch a 39
For reference I’m 39 in Orans, so I found Chypres running true to size.

Just saw that they're now available in bleu bleuet (EU site), a few sizes left.

Hi! Has anyone encountered glazing issues with their Chypres? I’ve only used mine maybe 3-4 times. The glazing started to crack already at the area where it usually creases. I just noticed it today. And I’m extremely shocked and disappointed. Please see photos.

These were snatched fr the website, only one was available in my size, 39!
My size for Orans is 38.5.

Randomly snagged these Chypre’s in a size 42! Bigger sizes are always so hard to get. I love them
