Hi! I am just going crazy trying to get a pair of Chypre in the denim/gold combo. I feel like stalking the website has become my full time job. I scored the gold leather with the black sole yesterday in a 38 but I am worried it will be too small. I am typically a 37.5 but wear a 38 in Paris Loafer and Day Sneaker. Is making a return from a website purchase possible? Does it have to be done by mail or can I return them in store? I am sure my SA would be happy to sell them to one of his clients.

Just received the denim/naturel combo in 36.5 from online and they fit fine. I also tried on the 36.5 beige argile suede at the boutique and they fit too. I got the black leather in 37 from my SA late last year so I guess I can wear either 36.5 and 37 Chypre. Pics for reference.

For those that have shearling chypres - how does they wear? Are they getting gross and getting bald spots easily? I bit the bullet/couldn’t pass up ordering the noir/ecru shearling, but honestly I’m on the fence. I much prefer the look of the shearling, but worry that I won’t get as much use as an all leather version. And the shearling will start looking pretty ratty quickly - especially with a light color…

I scored these online finally (EU ) and i must report that they run big now…. I have a pair of black leather chypres from last summer and managed to get them in 37 (as a reference i have orans/oasis in eurher 37 or 37.5 depending on the leather) and was SUFFERING how tight they were (of course continued to wear them ) and for those i was excited to get the 37.5 (even worried if 38 wouldn’t be better) and they are huuuuge, like i might have to stick something up to the straps to fill up the space between them and my feet. I recommend to not size up in the new colorways
