Finally snagged these from the website and they arrived today! Based on a lot of you guys, it looks like y’all took your regular size in the shearling/woolskin styles but the smallest size they had was 40 and I wear 39 in Orans. Do they look okay? I have to tighten the strap a lot which makes them overhang some. They feel fine when I walk but not if I loosen the strap. Also, when I start to walk, it feels like my foot is sliding backwards slightly which makes my toes barely come out at the top like they are sliding underneath the H. Just tell me I’m not crazy and they look fine lol. TIA!

hate to say this but your feet look lost in the Chypre. You def need a size smaller and the straps are way hanging outside.

Well unfortunately I’ve already worn them so I can’t do anything about it now. They wear fine, I know the strap overhangs but I’ll know to just take my true size next time or avoid men’s all together. They’re a chunky look anyways so I think I’ll be alright.

I just bought the black leather from the store last week. I actually bought the same size I wear in Orans- 38. I could see a half size up being ok, but the full size up 39 was enormous on me. Not sure what's going on with the sizes. At first I was told to go up a minimum full size, then I was told they had fixed sizing and go true to size ( tried 38 on summer on vacation and they were big!) Now I've just purchased my exact size. I plan on wearing them with socks during winter to hide my pale winter feet, and also to help with breaking in. They feel quite thick and unyielding just now, and imagine they'd rip my feet to shreds! Bought some fun sparkly Missoni socks to wear with them.tempImagezCvIVf.jpg

Congrats! I am a 42 in every shoe size on this planet. For the Chypre, I had to go up to 43.5. You dont want your heal to sit on the back rim. You need at least half an inch of space or less between your heel and the rim. Trust me I've tried various size. With wearing them, your feet will slide to the back you'll end up on the rim. Hence the size and half up. Now I am a guy and I understand for men the last is a bit wider. Perhaps start with one full size up and see where you land. As for them ripping your feet to shreds, you're absolutely right and they will 100%. I did get blisters. A trick i've done and do so at your own risk is to use leather conditioner all throughout on the outer H even under the H as that's where our foot goes. Good luck.
Side note: I have the same ones you have and I also have them in green tundra suede. The suede are much comfortable.

Great advice and I can see your point with the back rim, although in the full size up I could not keep them on my feet. Guess, the sizes are all over the place on these. Suede are definitely more comfortable. I've got suede Orans, no breaking in required :)

Hello All - I am confused. I purchased the standard black from the sit ages ago while there was still a note in the product page description to size up. This note is no longer on the H site, so did they adjust the sizing? Or is it the same as it has always been? TIA

Some of them on the website still say to size up while the others do not. It appears the woolskin styles say to size up and the leather styles do not have the size up note. Interesting because I did not find this to be true. Based on the most recent purchases from myself and others on here, it looks like they’ve corrected the sizing issue and most seem to be able to fit in their true size. I wear 39 in Orans and I bought 40 in the woolskin style and they are slightly big. 39.5 or maybe even 39 would have fit better.

Interesting. Thank you so much! I wear a solid 37 in Oran, and as of a year ago I was 38 in Chypre (37.5 slightly too short). I wonder if now I should take my chances with a 37 or 38 (regular, not shearling)....

I would probably try the 37.5 again. If you’re buying them online and both sizes are available and you can get both sizes, I would do that and then return the size that didn’t work.

Suggestio needed: I wear size 38 in Paris loafers, what size should I get in all leathe? Thank you
I think you should try the same size on the Chypre leather. For reference, I wear size 36 in Orans, 37 in Chypre leather and I just bought a pair of Paris loafers in 37 also. Although I haven’t worn the Paris loafers yet but when I tried them on at the store 37 was a little bit loose and 36.5 was a little too tight for me.
