How available are B35s currently? My SA showed my DH and I the different Birkin/Kelly sizes and leathers at an appointment a few months ago and recommended a B35 Noir Togo GHW based on my preferences and lifestyle.
I’ve read that they’re not very common/popular, but in light of the trend towards bigger bags is Hermes increasing production? We are currently around 16-17k spend in <6 months, with spend mostly in maison, belts/scarves, and men’s RTW. Our SA loves my DH and our kids, and I try to stay out of the way while they chat. Thank you in advance for any insights!

I don’t believe the bigger bag trend is actually a thing. B35s are still relatively unpopular and for that reason, stores order relatively fewer of them. It’s definitely a case of you not being offered simply because they don’t have any, not because you don’t “qualify”. I would try to just stand by and visit in person whenever possible but be patient and understand that your SA can’t make bags appear unless they come in the store’s delivery and get assigned to her. Good luck! (Also maybe consider a 30, I think you’d end up happier!)
The store manager at my local store is not ordering sizes 35 and 40 unless requested by a particular client. Sizes 25 and 30 are in. Clients go crazy for a size 20. Request one and your store manager will place a podium order for you. I hope that helps!
Interesting! I use my red B35 a lot for work and would not mind a black one...I have not asked SA yet because I wanted other style/size more, but I might for this year. They are also well priced on resale, so I'm tempted by that too.
I was showing DH my current favorite scarf, Stately Wheels 90, and telling him about its history—that the artist was inspired by seeing the intricately decorated carriages up close during a visit to the Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace—and pointing out the details I love about the design.

I have a random question for those of us who wear the Clic HH bracelets. More out of curiosity, not a complaint. I recently bought a new so black one and after a few uses I noticed it makes this scraping sound (think nails on a chalkboard) when I turn the H to lock or unlock it. My older one does not make any sound or feel like it’s catching on anything at all which is why I noticed. I looked closely and don’t see anything obvious causing it. I was wondering if others have experienced this?
I guess that’s possible? The sound makes my teeth hurt lol. Still one of my favorite H bracelets though. Here it is next to the non scrapy Kelly chaine
