Congrats on your baby

i would not keep a K35 even if you have to pay more than 2K extra for the right bag. * I’m basing this opinion, not only on what you wrote recently, but also on a prior statement that a K32 was your ideal size, but you found a deal on your 35. Post 19408, here:

And also based on this statement:
Paying extra to buy exactly what you want is better than having a great deal but not using it. (I say this having sadly made exactly this mistake. . .more than once) I do think that if you are wheeling or carrying a baby, that even a 32 Kelly might also have been too cumbersome.
I would first really make sure that the B30 is the right size for you. I have B30s that I now find too big and too heavy for what I carry…
If I were in your place I might prefer a small bag that I could also use for going out and have a second dedicated (lighter, cheaper)
bag for kid stuff. This might mean another type of bag altogether while you wait for the perfect H bag, IDK. Good luck with your decision.
Based on this ^, I would stick to your local SA. Bc even if you wanted to move to NY, your US record would still show that you already received one QB and you would also have to rebuild a relationship from scratch. (I say this as someone who may also only have one QB from my home store this year too
Note: IMO only, it’s not simply a matter of spend. It’s how much limited stock an SA is approved to offer and how much more demand she has to deal with. While it’s true that an SA may be able to make a stronger argument for someone who vastly outspends others, Hermes is also trying to allocate bags to newcomers who have potential and to others who have not yet accepted any bags this year.
