Hey Loveies, I have question; but I thought it wasn't Thread worthy.
So I hope that someone can chime in and let me know. I just recently started using my my speedy 25 again, and the size is really cute. However, I find the logo in certain circumstances a little loud and would prefer something Hermes. 😅 How does the Handle of the Speedy 25 compare to those of the Birkin 25 for example? Because Ive realized that they also smaller than the Speedy 30 for example. And since Im kinda tall 6 feet to be precise 🫣 and therefore have bigger hands I was always a little scarred that I couldn't fit my hands through the handles of the Birkin... But it works with the speedy 25?

The Speedy 25 handle drop is longer and the bag is much more malleable than a Birkin. The back flap seam of a B is pretty rigid and takes up a good bit of the handle drop which becomes the actual problem when trying to slip your hand through. Many of us are able to do it but it’s definitely not as carefree as a Speedy.

Thank you for your reply. :-) I own 2 Birkins but I thought since they vary in size so greatly a B30 and a B40. 😅 I simply wondered about the handle drop of the speedy 25 vs B25. I know that these to only have the length in common. 😅😇

Sharing this pic of my B25 next to my Speedy 25. You can see that the B’s handles are narrower and, as @acrowcounted points out, the back flap limits their ‘capacity’ so to speak. I can easily carry the speedy on my elbow but can only get the B just above my wrist.

Does anyone else feel like declaring at customs is like giving confession? And I’m always mortified by saying out loud exactly how much I spent! :facepalm: Yesterday I found myself making excuse for my purchases... like "well this bag is a very special color and it's a new style," and "oh this bracelet is limited edition and you can only get it from the store in Paris." You know what he said? “You could probably resell that then!” 😱 (What?! Is this a trick question??) I said, "No I actually like it and want to keep it!" lol.

Because now I have a better understanding as I have this bag and my hands aren't that large so I can wear it.
Adding a B25 to my wishlist... 😅

I echo the assessments of @papertiger and @tinkerbell68 .

If another visual will help - I lack your wonderful height (5’ 1” here), but consider my wrists and arms normal sized (whatever that means!). This is how the 25s look on me.

Thats soo good! Thank you! Now I have a way better visual understanding. I find the speedy considering its size very capacious, does the B25 holds up comparable? And BTW both look great on you! 😃
Is your B in Swift? If so we are bag cousins, I have a black B30 in swift 🥰

And fyi my height is not wonderful at least when buying pants. 😂

Hey everyone, I need advice. So, I've been shopping at Hermes for several years now. I have an extensive profile. I've shopped at many locations in the US and Europe. However, I've been shopping with my current SA at the BH location for a year. My spend ratio with my current SA is 3/1. Up until recently, I have never asked for a quota bag. I feel like my SA and I are pretty close. He gets me a few things I ask for, but it takes months. Lately, I've been feeling like our relationship is off. He takes days to a week to reply to texts, and when I ask for simple things, there is never any stock, and he never suggests I find the item at different stores. We talked recently, and he said if I see my sizes online, I should order them. I told him I preferred not to purchase online. During the last visit, I asked him if he happened to have a B30, and he said no, but we could work on it... Like what does that mean? Is this normal?
