I’m not sure of the new price but to-go wallets are notoriously difficult to get/find. They’re always sold out. I was at Paris FSH last week and they were sold out. My SA said they usually are but I’m sure at some point they get stock, it just sells immediately. It’s easier however in the sense that you don’t need an appt with the leather goods section. I live in London and if you go to bond st you can get help for a wallet easier than shoes/handbags if it’s busy.I wish I had a response for that. But alas I am an Hermes neophyte.
Does anyone know the new price for the Kelly to go in euro/gbp? Also, given that it’s a wallet, is it easier or harder to buy?
Definitely bolide! Not sure where to put this, but which would you choose as an everyday bag: bolide 27 in swift or possibly chèvre, or the Evelyne PM? Not sure if the bolide strap is able to go crossbody? (Even if the bag would be high up on my body, I’d be willing to wear it that way). I do like that it has top handles. Thanks!
Bolide! There’s something so much more alluring to it.Not sure where to put this, but which would you choose as an everyday bag: bolide 27 in swift or possibly chèvre, or the Evelyne PM? My theory as to why they’re as hard if not harder to procure than Bs & Ks is because of the price point being so low to reach “Kelly status”, so they withhold stock and/ or make less of it to keep it exclusive.I’m not sure of the new price but to-go wallets are notoriously difficult to get/find. Thank you! Do you think swift would be durable over time? (I actually like the slouch of it)Definitely bolide!
Hi @FrenchNewbie and welcomeHello Fellow H lovers! I joined this site back in 2021 but basically just browsed, so wanted to formally (re)introduce myself and say hello to all you wonderful people.
I have been a long-term owner/collector/staple fan of LV/Versace, but recently started to purchase Hermes around 2013/2014 (mostly RTW, Jewelry, Home---but still haven't scored a leather good yet). I hope to explore/learn more about the bags and the H "lifestyle" and one day hope to get offered a Holy Grail.
Please go easy on me as I learn the lingo and acronyms and such.![]()
Thank you. I really hope so.Hi @FrenchNewbie and welcomeI'm a newbie too. I just joined August 2021. I truly hope you get your dream bag/Holy Grail this year. Prayers for you to get your purse and I am sending you positive vibes.

I can honestly tell you I personally purchased everything I wanted. A Bolide, a wallet, a blanket, boots, shoes, scarves, perfume/cologne. The only jewelry I purchased was a silver bracelet (which I have since lost), and a gold ring. I spent around $20K CDN. Then I was offered the Birkin after 5 months(which was almost 2 years ago). But I don't know if I was just lucky? My first SA was amazing. I'm now on my 3rd SA, and I have already spent quite a bit again since my first offer, and I don't know if I will ever get a second offer?Thank you. I really hope so.
For the last year or two, I have gotten more serious and intentional with my purchases...trying to get my spending up.
Any advice on which categories hold the most merit, and how much you need to spend in each?
