Vibes to the snowbound peeps!

My good news for the day--my furniture is ready!!! This is the first time I have actually ordered furniture vs taking what was available and on sale. So excited to get it! Delivery scheduled for next Wednesday!

Wow, Mree, the roads look insane! We are literally snowed in here, too. Can't open the front door against the snow drifts; our drive, walkway, and road remain unplowed. Dogs have food, I have food, doin' fine, but you do think about folks who have medical needs that can't wait. Our town is usually pretty good, and our home plower-folks are too, so I anticipate I will be freed by tonight. Still, crazy. I don't miss having to commute to work/school in this--which I did all my life until recently (Buffalo, then St. Paul MN).

That is very exciting!

Hope you can get plowed out soon. Stay warm and safe, ok? :hugs:

Mree! Be careful! Please tell me you have good tires at least....

I drive a very little sports car. I did get stuck on the road, so I just got out and shoveled! Then I carried on.

It's so BAD here! This is the worse I have seen in. I still can't believe I made it in.

This is the view from my office when I got in.

Pugsy, what do you do when Seymour won't poo? Miss Olive is so used to going off into a corner of the yard that she won't either, so far, and I KNOW she's uncomfortable. I've done my best to give her a clear area, but she's not going for it. Don't know how to convince her!

I am sitting here laughing as they suspend train service again. Staying home was definitely the best idea.

Hugs to all my snow-bound peeps and extra hugs to Mree who had to go in today.

Oh please be careful :hugs:

But I'm sitting here giggling you posted that picture. If you're in the city I think you're in, and that building is what I think it is (again, before first cup of coffee, I may be wayyy off)... I think my mom and dad lived in the brick building on the left side of the picture when they lived there pre-Pugsy :p

Anyone follow that? No? Ok. I'll go find coffee...

I just keep him on his schedule and he goes when he needs to, snow or not. So usually he holds it for a day or so, and then he'll find a little patch of grass and decide he better go. I know, bad pug momma :shame:

The Hermes sale! Yippeeee!

:yahoo: Okay, since going to the H sale means coordinating a complicated array of people and airline tickets, can I ask if booking tickets for the 22 or 23ish will put me there for the sale? Third week of March, right? Not that it would matter if I booked wrong since there's plenty of fun and shopping to be done with or without the H sale!

Mindi, hope today is filled with less frustrating and infuriating people than yesterday. But keep the vodka and bag porn close by! I'm probably going to be on the phone with the cable company soon...the cable box which contains all of LilOB's Elmo episodes is acting up. I had to placate her this morning with Happy Feet.

Thanks hun!!!

I'm telling you, people should STAY off the roads! They are not plowed and it's very very bad out. It's heavy snow and heavy winds.

I feel bad for the retail workers, the stores around here are opening late. Who is going to go shopping in this?? I got soaked walking from the parking garage to my building. SOAKED! And i have some heavy duty snow gear!

Oh please be careful :hugs:

Are you thinking Beacon Hill?? Cause if you are, you are correct!! How funny is that.

I'm glad I have you all to keep my company. There are 17 people in my office (we are one division with three sections), five of us made it in today.

Yes! LOL! I just remember the domed building and the park from the last time mom and I were out there. Too funny.

One of my favorite cities :girlsigh:
