Mr. BBL and I thank you for the vibes today. Of course the day couldn't have started any worse. The taxi didn't come. DH had to drive. We made it to the hospital in under 15 minutes. So, our plans are screwed. DF drives his car to our house, gets a cab comes to the hospital, drives our car back to our house with poor old DH wrapped up in a ball in the back seat. He has to keep his head down 55 minutes each hour.
Anyway, he seems to have done very well with the surgery. Instead of a week with his head in this wacky position, it is only 24 hours. So that's good. We have to do drops soon. Oh and Dear, dear friend, left us a homemade pot pie for dinner.

Glad to hear everything turned out well, BBL! Wow, so DH has to lay down pretty much all of the time? Thank goodness just for one day, though.
BBL, so glad MrB got through the surgery. I think most DH's would be saying that they need to lie down for three weeks so that they would have to waited on hand and foot!

I have a dear friend who now lives in Sydney, but lived in NZ for about 15 years. I certainly hope his friends there are OK. I was told that the iconic church in Christchurch was destroyed. So sad.
My daffodils have already had it. Spring came and went for me as far as those flowers. However, I am eagerly awaiting the orange blossoms! My entire town smells of orange blossom when this happens as there are so many orange trees. I see the little buds forming on my trees already!
My guest room is ready, but the new family furniture is not LOL!
