Tesi, I'm so sorry to hear about your pooch; 14 years is a lot of memories. If you know that she's suffering then at least you know that what you're doing is the kindest thing for her. Best wishes to you.:flowers:

And also my thoughts are with you, BBL, and your husband for his operation today. Here's hoping all goes smoothly.:hugs:

Hope I'm not kicked out for being gone for so long... :shame: Miss chatting and have been thinking of you all! :flowers:

I have been in and out of work trips and up for another one this weekend. Focaling a project and so my OCD of making sure everything has been covered has kicked in big time, lol. Internet has been iffy to come by when gone, but I've wanted to pop on!

Hope everyone is doing well. I should be back by March

Hey all, I just got a text from BBL! Mr. BBL came through the surgery just fine and he's in recovery now.

Does anyone know how the weather is there? I'm still worried about them getting around.

Ugh--my massai mini-debacle continues. Paypal double hit my account, sending it negative. I very specfically keep this account very low because of all the problems I've heard about with paypal freezing entire account balances. I've filed something with both my bank and paypal, but still....

Good thing I really like this bag!

Thanks for the update, Restricter! I'm sure BBL is breathing a sigh of relief.

Ck, oh that sucks big time!! It's like Murphy's Law with this transaction. But I bet it's a gorgeous and uber cool bag. I always think of Jennifer Aniston's picture in the Stars thread when I think of the Massai. Hope it all works out and you finally get your bag!!

EB, Restricter is right, just make sure to check for obvious things prior to anesthesia. Bloodwork will give you a ton of info, but you might also discuss doing X-rays +/- ultrasound of her heart to check for subclinical heart disease. Also, to give you peace of mind, ask your vet to discuss their geriatric anesthetic protocol and monitoring equipment. It doesn't eliminate all chance of something going wrong, but at least you know every precaution is being taken. Did they say that she needed teeth pulled?
