DS just called. He thinks he must have gotten pickpocketed at the bar. One more place to check. All of my cards were in there. He told me there were two. Fortunately for DS, he had lots of $$ in his checking account, so we will be able to buy a credit card from the bank. I just don't feel good about him not having a credit card (even though he had mine. Now I have to turn them all off and, but they probably are over the credit limit anyway, so they wouldn't work.) Do they ever grow up? As much as I kvell over him and his accomplishments, I'm now at my wit's end and there is nothing I can do.
On the other hand (no pun intended,) look what I got from hautegallery.com today:
1st there was the train.
2nd there was the bus
3rd a friend had it. Grrrrrrr. Those of you with little ones???? No, just when you think they are grown. They are not.
The wallet is safe.

Wow. Not my cup of tea, but cording out a poodle is really big time and to train his hair to do that in a continental cut is really a work of art. And, he really isn't really a pretty dog. Look at it's face. My kids are so much prettier. The cords do not actually do the cut justice. Did it actually compete? We missed the show.

I always feel that cording ultimately hurts them physically. Poor little baby. And, he had no say in the matter.

No, that one didn't compete, but a white one did earlier but didn't advance. You are probably right, that the cords hurt them more than a breed that cords naturally...poor baby!

No, no, it was Hautelook.com. Sorry. It's one of those places with overstocked stuff like ruelala, gilt. They just keep popping up. I saw that watch on shopnbc and really liked it. hautelook had it for a mere pittance, but I had to claw my way to get it.
I can't help it -- I'm a tv shopping junky.
Back to the wallet. Yes. The friend had it in Bethesda. So, he has to go over tomorrow, but DH has his eye doctor appointment late in the day and he was going to switch cars at 5 just when we were going to be out. I wasn't going to even tell him about it, but I had to tell him.
This thing has wiped me out. I think I am going to go to bed early.
It's a Sturling. I think it's called the Ozzie. It's automatic with a skeletonized front and back. It also has three rubber straps -- pink, white and black. Not bad for $60.
He is getting the wallet back tomorrow. It is in Bethesda, a mere 60 mile round trip.
Oy, and double oy. This brainchild is giving be a headache.

Looking forward to a trauma/DS filled day. Why oh why was I so sure he was so grown up? Why does he have so many pots in the fire the day he needs to leave? I had to tell him that his DF has to see the Dr today because of an emergency, because that was the exact time he wanted to come over and swap cars. Things aren't working out his way, so he isn't a happy camper. Grrr. I really didn't want to worry him about the doctor. I might even have to drive him home. Not a good day.
