And, honestly, I don't KNOW how she became 8 already. Not to depress, but I cry the night before her birthday each year because I can't believe she's a year older. For those that don't know, she was a micro-preemie who dodged so many bullets to become the smart, beautiful, vexing girl that she is!:cloud9:

When I'm on a minimalist kick, I think I can sell everything but my best loved pieces, and just buy it.

I miss everyone! So far, living with the Knight is going well - but I'm shocked by how different my life is.
I have to be "on" and not witchy 90% of the time. He takes everything so literally. I'm watching the Muppets Christmas Carol (yes, I do know it's Febuary) and I need to explain why la Piggy is a diva. Then, he wakes up three times last night w nightmares about ghosts.

That IS the hardest part of living with a toddler/small noninfant child! And the most exhausting. Isn't it weird how the most innocent of TV shows/movies are the ones that cause the nightmares? My sister said Scooby Doo gave her son nightmares. Happy Feet has so many scary parts in it (penguins being chased by killer whales and leopard seals, scary chase music), but LilOB has not had a single nightmare because of it. If anything, she watches those parts because she thinks they're funny. Go figure.

Belated birthday wishes to Princess Buttercup and hugs to her "they grow up so fast" Mom! They do, they really do. There was a period of about a week when Henry was actually smaller than Olive. :p

Surgery internship sounds extremely hard, both emotionally and intellectually, nurse, but I'm sure it will also be fascinating. Nurse - that sounds like a really challenging internship. Lots of pressure! I am sure you are going to be great! We'll miss you in Chat but do update us when you can and know that we are all behind you sending vibes and chanting, You can do it!
