DH and I are on the way to drop Collin off with DMIL and DFIL and we're going out to lunch. It is causing me a tiny bit of angst, but lunch should be fun.

Morning peeps! One of my ex-neighbors woke me up to drop of some boxes of her crap for us to store. She'd apparently cleared it with DH - who isn't here to move the boxes from the living room. Good times. She couldn't bring them all over (FIVE in total). She said she'll need us to hold them for about 8 weeks. Yeah, she's never coming back for them. I'm just going to make DH move them into the basement and (hopefully) forget all about them.

DH and I will be having a talk (again) about the magic phrase; "Have you talked to my wife about this? If not, then please do so. She'll kill me if I say yes to anything!" Any of those lines will do!!

Now I've got two huge - overly perfumed - boxes in my front hall. And her lawnmower on the side of my house (that one doesn't actually bug me - it just set the precedent).

On our way to poick up Collin. We went to Wolfgang Puck express for lunch. Normally, it's great, but today was rough. Oh well, we laughed about it!

Here is a totally non Hermes related rant. We have a breadmaker that we got from hsn. It is a Wolfgang Puck appliance and is really nice and works well. The machine is huge and works best with the Wolfgang Puck mixes. So, I ordered three packages of three sets of mixes. Each set of mixes have three different flavors. When I got to the place where yeast goes in, there was none. We opened the other two cartons and finally found one. hsn was good about giving us credit for the yeast so I didn't have to return everything.
But, when QA is so blatantly ignored, it just ticks me off so much. Now I have to buy the yeast and call the company Monday to complain about yeast. Now I'm waiting for the yummy (butter crust) bread to be done (not until 8 pm). It is always something.
That's all. Rant over. Rainy in Baltimore. Need to figure out dinner. Thanks for listening to something as mindless as missing yeast in a bread mix.

Hey, Laila!! I bet the SO Black boots are gorgeous! I'd think it should come with all the accouterments of the SO Black line, otherwise why call it that, right? I'd be a wee bit disappointed if it came with the regular stuff, if only because of all the hype around it.

Just got back from Knott's Berry Farm for PB's BD...Went better than expected but I'm still pooped...

I'm so clueless. I'm trying to figure out what you bad food you could be eating tomorrow. Of course, I'm thinking, nosh? oh, lox, cream cheese, bagels, pickles, whitefish, then I get it. Such a dork, I forget about the superbowl. Or the stupid-bowl as we call it here. We are not football people. If it was the Patriots and/or the Ravens, then maybe.
Have fun noshing on the forbidden food. We'll be eating fresh baked bread.

Good news people! There is a spot where you can see grass in front of my house. It's a little spot but it's there! The rain is washing away the snow. Yippee! I keep hearing chunks falling off the roof. Thankfully, no leaks anywhere.

Yeah, BBL, the Ravens were a disappointment this year, and I could care less about the teams that made it, but I like the commercials and putting out the spread. There are no meals, just a non-stop grazing, followed by Pepto till next season. I'm looking forward to making guacamole, then there's cheese and crackers and cold cuts. The Stella will be chillin'...

Thanks! She's now 8 and it just seems sooo different! We are changing out her room from Dora to a Big-Girl pattern, so the "Little Girl" is growing up:cry:...

I see we'll be chillin' the same beer as you, Bmom DH loves Stella Artois, although he'll choke down a Blue Moon or *gasp* Budweiser if a restaurant doesn't have Belgian beers. I'm making pizza and brownies from a recipe off the King Arthur flour package...seems foolproof, but I'm sure I'll prove that wrong.

Hahaha, I LOVE Stella! But, since I always have it at home, I won't order it out. I'll get Anchor Steam or Perroni or a craft bew if we're someplace that makes their own. I'll drink water before I do Bud/Coors (since there isn't really that much of a diff). When you make your own at home (DH) you get kinda picky.
