Yum! Sounds good. Love all the nibbles, i never watch the game, but a great excuse for food.

Ditto, Pugsy, ditto!

Hiya to Pugs, purse, restricter, BBL, lulilu, everybody!

Sunny here too, but no grass. Am ready for spring! Ready, ready, ready! No, wait, I'm not, 'cus with spring come all sorts of new toxic items for HenHen to eat. I am seriously considering electric fencing to keep Henry out of our flowerbeds. And if we did the front yard, too, it would also give the dogs a new area to run around in, or let one dog be in front and one in back when Miss Olive needs a break. DH is against it, but I believe it will give me some piece of mind, which is, let's face it, priceless.

Mindi, the electric fence is a good idea. Some of my neighbors have it and their dogs sit out front, chilling. They will only go so far across the grass. I understand some training is involved.

Hi everyone, it's sunny in DC and it is soooo pretty.

My favorite Belgian white beer is Hoegaarden. But I am a IPA girl. Hoppy makes me happy, at least in terms of beer.

Nurse, good luck with your internship. I know you will do VERY well. And as Mindi so aptly put it, we are all sending you Chat vibes. Pop in when you can. That's what we all do here.

Hi VL, Like Cobalt with YG, you are doing such a good thing for the boy. He needs stability, which from what I can infer he has not had much of in his life, and you can give him that. I wish you both the best. It's not easy. Fiive years old is such a cute age, and yes, very literal. FYI, I also am pining after a hellishly expensive piece of Verdura.

OB, Pizza and Brownies, yum!!!

B-Mom, I hope PB had a good birthday, even though she fell asleep early. Birthday cake for breakfast though!!!!

Hi Mindi, many of my neighbors have electronic fences for their dogs. It seems to work well.

Hi restricter, I can relate to the litter box... I can also relate to TSC, too...

Pugs, So sorry about your SO ribbon. They really should send you some from Paris.

Hi CK!!!, Hi Laney!!! Hi Lulilu!

BBL, **Big waves** to you too!!!

Enjoying the :sunshine::sunshine::sunshine:

Today is the one day of the year where I enjoy watching commercials.

EB reminded me that I meant to mention, yet again, how much respect I have for VL and her care of the DK. It is so true, with children you need to be on your "good behavior" all the time--at least, people who care about children try to do that. It's an enormous psychological and emotional commitment. It's so remarkable of you, VL, to do this. I want to believe that the best Karma will be yours! It should be!

And Pugsy, boo to the missing ribbon. But yay to the beeyooteeful bag.

Forgive me if I have told you this before, Mindi.
We had to use the invisible fencing when we brought Charley into the house. We have a four foot high picket fence in the back yard, but that is the height limit as per our neighborhood association. We lost a dog after 8 days in our care because she broke through one of the pickets trying to escape and get a rabbit. It took 24 heart wrenching hours to find her in a pet morgue. When we got Charley and he was jumping, our trainer suggested some things to make him stop. I told him, there was no way that I was going through the heartbreak of ID-ing another dog like poor Mollie. I got the fence installed around the real fence and the front of the house, but we have never used the front part. Also, we had an inside area set up. It worked out for Charley. Horatio never needed it. It also Gave Horatio some freedom from Charley. But, some dogs don't ever get it. And it does take training. We were lucky. Charley got it fast. We had to let him see where the flags were and not let him near the actual physical fence anymore.
Caveat. The one time he got trapped in the house zone. I wasn't home. My cleaning lady was there and she didn't know about the invisible fence in the house. He was so screwed up from the experience, we turned off everything, took off his collar and were done with it. It can also be a nightmare. Really be careful with the whole thing.
All of my dogs have managed to survive gardens of all sorts through the years. They have also ingested live things, like birds, rabbits, bugs, and that's just what I have witnessed. Charley has chronic pancreatitis and he eats tomatoes of my tomato plants all summer! Also grass, all sorts of herbs from my herb garden, roses, flowers, etc.

Lulilu, nope, I've ripped the box apart (not literally :shame:) trying to find it, not there.

EB! IPA fan here too! The pacnw has really spoiled me on beer choices. So glad you are enjoying the sunshine too :flowers:

Had forgotten to say, VL, so happy to hear DK is with you.

IL! How are you doing? :hugs:
