The doc says it was just a wicked cold. I have super strength cough meds. Thanks for the vibes. Still hacking.

Sending out lots of vibes to Restricter and the Winkster (wherever they are)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Back to hacking for me!

Hi

A year or so ago I bought my first Twilly. Hmmm, things have moved on a bit since then, I now own four Carres, five twillys and a plisse...oh and a hapi. I have also got into other scarves. I haven't been on TPF much because I haven't really had a lot of time, but you were all so helpful in enabling me to catch this habit, I hope you might now help me deal with storing the outputs :yahoo:

I need a storage/display solution. I mean, the orange boxes are nice to look at but when I am racing out the door I don't have time to open each box and decide what to wear. But I also don't want to leave that lovely silk out to collect dust...

So, please share what you do in terms of scarf storage? Photos would be great too.

Thanks heaps

Hey good morning. No real Winky news yet. The ultrasound showed more irregularity with the kidneys so once again we did needle aspirations. Results Thursday.

I'm sorry I didn't fill everyone in sooner but the stress got to me and I was asleep by 9:30. Woke up to Winter Wonderland. They put trains on a weekend schedule but judging from the over-crowding around me, everyone went in. The parking lot was a skating rink. Yikes!

I can only imagine how frustrating all this inconclusive news is about Winky. Vibes continue. . . .
Watching the dogs out back this morning was amusing, in a sick way. Paws splayed, legs everywhere on the ice. Like newborn colts, especially Mr. Henry Longlegs.

It's good that you got some rest.

I am in for a wild day at work.

See ya peeps!!!!

Hi gals! Finally I've managed to catch up :sunshine:

I took a day off work today, I really needed it. I went to bed early last night and was woken up at nearly midnight to this really insane screeching noise. SO and I both woke up (and normally I would sleep through anything). It sounded like a wailing baby at first but then SO thought it was either some cats or some foxes outside. He was gonna go out and check but then after a while they eventually shut up so we could go back to sleep. But jees, I had never heard such insane screeching before, it was ridiculous!!!

Oh WAY. You would be surprised what finds it's way to the fridge/freezer. Keys, scissors, lightbulbs, bags of stuff that has no business being there, like pantyhose, chewing gum, soap. Need I go on? It gets worse as one gets older. So sad. A brain is a terrible thing to waste...

BBL - you've gotta be kidding me!!!! Ha ha :lolots: That is so funny!!!

A-T-G - hope you are feeling better! :flowers:

tesi - hi!!! :hugs: Are you talking about your oh-so-fabulous daughter who was on Elle.com?! That was such a great photo of her! And she rocked the Kelly :D I am so glad to hear that your mom is doing better than expected :hugs:

ck - how did Collin get on with his vaccinations?

IL - can't believe you guys get snow in SOUTH TEXAS!!!! :wtf:

Suzie - hope you are ok over there in Oz! I saw on the news last night that it was 39 degC in Sydney / Melbourne. Wow that is insanely hot.

BBL - sending vibes to your poor DH, he must be so sore from that fall! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

OB - Guinness is such a great name! Do you have a picture of her?

IL - sorry to hear about the rough day you had :hugs:

EB - have a good day at work!

A-T-G - glad to hear you finally went to see a doctor, hope you have a speedy recovery :hugs: :hugs:

restricter - sending Winky vibes

Hi Wassit, Welcome to our Chat!!
I have a tower of orange boxes in a bookcase that we put in a closet.
Each box has a label on it, with the photo, information on the designer, the year it was issued, if it is a special or limited edition (my specialty)
The labels are actually printed on card stock, folded in such a way that they can tuck into the top of the box, touch only the tissue inside and outside I see the photo and the name. It comes together with two rubber bands.
This was DH's solution to seeing piles of scarves and boxes on my bed when I was looking for the right scarf to wear. All credit goes to Mr. BBL (and my son for helping him with the bookcase!)
Hope this helps.

Good morning. Mr. BBL report. He slept okay. He woke up with a sore stiff neck.
My good friend did the same thing yesterday as well. Fell exactly the same way, walking out of his house to get the paper. He slid on the first step and landed the same way.
Then, DS's DFriend, falls down the steps outside their house. Bruised and battered. Wow. What a bad day for black ice in BBL-land.

ATG-- hope your meds are helping your cough. I get bronchitis from time to time. It is non stop coughing that only serious stuff can fix.
Restricter, you must be beside yourself with more tests to wait for Winky. Is he at least home or still in the hospital?
Mindi -- can the pups go out by themselves? Or do you have to walk them? We use kitty litter (messy) on our deck, steps and patio for the guys to get a grip. But they have some weight on them. I saw a picture of a chihuahua with basenji mix the other day in the paper. He looked like little prince HenHen. I will have to find the photo and scan it for you.
Everybody, EB, Avril, IL (tests? are you okay? IV) ck, anybody else I missed. Safe and happy day today. And, DH thanks you all for the vibes. I think it helped him.

If you can, I'd love to see that picture, BBL. That's what we suspect is in Master Henry--chi and basenji. Glad to hear DH is doing okay. Several years ago my DH fell on ice and broke his ankle. Slips and falls are no joke!

Better days are coming...
