I wish I had the imagination or style, even, to do something with my scarves to wear them in some unusual ways. Or even wear them at all. When I use them, I put them on in the morning, by the time I'm where I'm supposed to be for the day, I'm so warm, I have to remove the scarf. That silk is really warm! (or I'm just hot stuff, LOL!)

Wow, you ladies have been busy!

ATG -- I have cooked the same veggies, but never a coffee cake. Please come to my house. When we owned a farm property, we had double ovens. Really handy!

EB -- hope the meetings went well. I had to go to work in the mess too. It wasn't too terrible.

Restricter -- hugs to you and Winky. You are amazing -- if my dogs woke me at 3 am for food, I'd be really mad. I am glad you feel rejuvenated after the weekend. As an aside, do you think acupuncture is as good on humans?

CK - new furniture!!!

BBL -- our sons are similar in age and mine has no intention to get married any time soon. Nurse, my daughter was 31 when she got married. No rush, indeed. I lived with my exDH for 6 years before we married -- and only because we wanted children.

I know I am missing someone....

Lulilu - I've been wanting to try acupuncture to see if it's any good. My chiropractor used to have an acupuncturist he worked with but she went on maternity and never came back. It worked wonders on Jinjy.

Speaking of little man... I caught him peeing on the living room chair and all I did was look at him and he took off (finished peeing on the fly). God what a mess! I chased him down and scolded him. He's run away from home and is hiding by the laundry room. I'm sure when the lights go out he'll come to bed. In the meantime, I'm ignoring him.

These cats are a handful!

my cat peed once in a fake plant i had sitting in the living room, there was nothing i could do but throw it away!

Thanks for asking, Nurse! :love: I had a good cry last night and feel much better today. Busted out my 'to-do' list again this week. That's two in a row - good things are gonna' happen if I'm this energized and husslin'.

Our new neighbor works with DH, so I took his Fiance out and about to introduce her to the neighborhood/state. We had a blast! Just got back home.

And coffee cake for breakfast makes anyone feel better!

Made it through the day with no major incidents. And that is a good thing. My client liked the creative the first time out, and that IS a first. The Web security deal is going to be more of an issue. Damn crooks.

Sorry for the long silence this weekend. I was taking a bit of a break from everything and just trying to relax. It worked. Now I'm back in the office and decidedly unrelaxed. The commute was a total nightmare.

I can relate to the first and can hope for the second!!!

Pugsy, I really liked the movie. It was REALLY well done. And it was nice to see Boston/Cambridge in the movie. But the founder really is portrayed as a Massengil CEO. I agree with you and BBL about Macy's, not a nice store. And you are right that Target is much more pleasant, too.

Ah, kitties! Mine have managed to ruin a very expensive (renovated) bathroom by peeing sneakily on my slate floor. Little jerks!

Smooches to you! But, if the new movie is awesome, you're gonna' want to see it! I know I will (but, I lurve the Muppets! So, I have no but, myself to blame!)

Yup! Which is funny because I TOLD the guy to do it ASAP but, he never did it. In his defense, he suffered a truly horrible hand injury on a different job and just barely managed to finish our place using a really crappy assistant. Of course, now I have stinky slate I can't replace!! Great job, kitties.
