Pugs, thank you for posting that. It does help, because it is an example of several things, including that there's hope for HenHen (which I know), that change doesn't happen overnight (something of which I need to remind myself), AND that it isn't odd that DH and I are having some differences centered around my response to Henry (what stresses one partner stresses the other). It actually makes me feel REALLY relieved that I am not alone in any of this. Thank you, thank you. I hope you won't regret posting that (I know it's personal and you are a private person); please know it was enormously reassuring to me. :hugs:

 glad it helped. It does get better! But little dogs are stubborn dogs, it does take time :hugs:

Seriously, as Pugs and I have testified, the DH/SO friction is NORMAL. Not comfortable, not great, but NORMAL. I think it's a guy thing...

Yeah, maybe it is, B-Mom. I must admit, these "guy things" get old faaaaast. I know I'm no picnic to live with, but how come DH and I can behave exactly the same way, but in my case it's intolerable and in his case, justified? I know, guy thing. Grrrr.

Howdy y'all!
Keep trying to catch up with everything but I must be a really slow reader or sumfin'. Anyhoo, the revamped 2011 Jules model is finally over christmas/cold bugs/kids stuff and I thought I'd jump back in again!

Restricter, lots of vibes for a positive outcome for Winky & if you need me to get your Whiskas for you, I'd be more than happy to ship it over to you! I had a quick look & Amazon had a 12 pack for £12. If you want to get an idea of postage costs, have a look at the price finder on www.royalmail.com ; it would probably be worth a bulk order.

Congrats to Nurse & Purse on exam results, best feeling when you know you've got them done & dusted!:yahoo:

Mindi, really feel for you with Henhen; he really does sound like a pet that needs a rigidly enforced routine, which is so hard to do when you have another dog too. (Some kids are like that too!)

Hi to everyone else too: BBL, loving hearing about your son; Pugs, LOVED that bag! Ditto EB! Both the reveals were brilliant! Have all the SO black's gone to the other side of the pond? Not fair!!! Avril, thought of your whirlwind trip to London, when my feet were killing me having covered only a fraction of your trip! And hugs and kisses to anyone else I may have missed!:D
