@KimSeokjin’s Wife , have you tried on
@nikotama ’s H coat^ (or a similar silhouette). I think it would look good bc it’s loose enough to skim the body in a really flattering way, but it also somehow looks like it have some structure (some H coats just bag out). The pockets also seem to be very flattering, but I’m not sure why. Or maybe it’s bc
@nikotama just looks good in it
I think that I have a similar body type as yours (and for decades I was the same weight that you mentioned above). I found that sometimes a sash around my waist created a sausage effect if in bulky outerwear fabric. But, I also have a very thick waist for my weight/height even at my thinnest. If like me, you sausage out, you can ask the tailor if the belt is at your natural waist. Bc sometimes moving it (as suggested by
@periogirl28 also helps. Also, this is my own personal feeling: if you have a soft figure and need structure, wool gives a bit more shape than cashmere, even in the same cut. I only wear my H cashmere short car length coat (single breasted, medor button) when I am at my thinnest. Bc the soft quality of the cashmere can make me look lumpy.
Although somewhat OT, when I was at the top of my weight, I turned to a more structured Chanel coat. Bc Chanel can tailor to fit and create an illusion of a waistline, and their A silhouette and pocket placement give the illusion of an hourglass. It’s of course a very different look.
@Chrismin, I think the 36 on that coat will be plenty big on you. At my present weight, I think we wear similar sizes. Though I was surprised that you chose to go up so much with thr tuxedo
