A bit of h goss for brisbanites, David is moving to Sgp. He'll be the trainer for South East Asia. His last day is this Thurs. Congrats to him but I'll miss him. Bon voyage David.

David is the SA here but as you can read in this forum David is very delightful to work with and very knowledgable. He'll be the trainer of the trainers so it's a promotion, he is totally the right person for it, totally deserves it.

Another one bites the dust. Many franchise boutiques have been closing recently, Hermes has been trying to buy back most of the franchise boutiques for the past few years. I have also heard that if the boutique do not comply then Hermes Paris stop sending the desired bags, eventually sending them broke. Such a shame, often the rules are much more lenient at franchise stores.
Are all of the QLD stores franchises? How do you know?

There was a Rodeo at Surfers Paradise last week.
Saw 3 Garden Party's at Marina Mirage this week. Etoupe GM, Gold GM and Gold PM.
Terribly sad to see my favourite Hermes store at Marina Mirage in the throws of closing down. Boxes everywhere, couriers arriving to transfer stock to other stores, etc.

Nearly forgot to tell you, Surfers Paradise store has a rouge PM Garden Party. But its so cute I recommend you call them before driving in there, as it could have been snapped up by now.
