Hello ladies, would appreciate it of anyone had any updates on latest inventory at the boutique, TIA!

Hey there

When I visited last week, they had:
1 menthe (I think) Jypsiere
1 bolide (can't remember colour)
2 shoulder/ long handle canvas GPs
leather GPs (gold and etoupe)
2 dragon keyrings
1 or 2 exotic wallets
a wide range of clic clacs (including 3 sizes in the new capucine colour) and enamel bracelets
few different carmen keyrings
2 CWs (4, 6) of the ex libris kimonos GM shawl
au fil du carre shawl in purple CW
2 twillys (not matching)
no CDCs or KDs

They had quite a few other bags but I just can't remember the styles :smile1:

Hi ladies, do you know the tax reclaimable when you travel overseas?
And do you think you would purchase from Brisbane, providing they had what I wanted, or would you wait for the USA? (and what tax is claimable there?)

Thanks

I am by no means an expert on tax, but if you are a foreign resident travelling to Australia, you should be able to claim back the GST upon leaving the country. You should probably enquire about this though.

As for purchasing in Brisbane vs USA, it really depends. The prices of H is much, much higher in Australia compared to the US. However, if you find what you're looking for (and you can get your 10% tax refund), then perhaps it would be worth buying from H Brisbane. You just need to weigh up your chances of finding that item again (if you find a rare item in Brisbane, chances are it will be hard to find elsewhere, in which case you should snap it up). Have fun shopping! :D

Thanks MsHermesAU

I am an Australian heading off to the US for a month.

So I will be shopping me heart out over there too. LOL.

Does the US have a GST-like tax we can claim back either at the shop or the airport?

I have been traveling in Asia for so long I cannot remember.

No, you cannot claim any tax free from the USA.

Hello ladies. I'm a newbie in H land (wished I've discovered the wonderful world of H sooner, but better late than never). I was wondering what everyone experiences are with H Brisbane these days. I've been regularly buying things from the store to score a B or K (more than 6 months and counting) but overall I don't find their inventory to be that impressive compare to Hermes SP. Is it cause I'm a newbie to the store, or it is what it is. Any tips on how to expedite the "wait list'?

Hi Ladies,
we just moved to Perth from US. Is it possible to establish a relationship with an SA over the phone? There is no Hermes in Perth. Do you have a good SA you can recommend?

Thank you!

I recommend Eriko from the Hermes surfers paradise store. They seem to get a lot more stock than Melbourne. And my hubby reckon it's harder to sell at SP bcoz it's tourist area.
