Thank you so much Rami that is really kind of you. My friend was recently offered her first Birkin and her SA seemed very accommodating from what she said. Who knows, it may not bag me one but it may at least get the ball rolling somehow. As for colour etc, my dream would be to start with a B30 in Togo leather, black, I don't have any preference over HW. I have no idea if this is a hard to come by bag or what really? It's a whole new world to me and I am reading this forum like my life depends on it

O sweetheart! I know what you mean lol. I got that bug and never looked back. My Chanel collection shrunk to 3 bags. Have you read the Paris thread? So many success stories.

I'm seriously done with Chanel, I'm still in love with Chanel don't get me wrong BUT I can't justify their prices anymore compared to spending roughly 2-3K more and getting something like a BIRKIN Did you find it took long for you to make your way through the Hermes barrier so to speak? No I haven't, I shall head over there now, thank you

I agree. Almost 7k for a jumbo? Thank you very much. I’ll take my business to Hermes please. My Birkin is more than a year old and stillsmells divine. You can’t beat the craftsmanship.

I have just been lucky. I thought I’d never ever get one without even going to the boutique. I heard/read all the horror stories. I know. Crazy talk. And bam…first time I went in...the best SA I ever meet in my lifetime. We hit it off. I bought one scarf and he called me a week later “Rami, you’d like tosee an orange birkin”. I passed on the first one. Everyone said “O good luck now” Got a call again two weeks later. My story is a hoax lol. But building a relationship with SA is the only thing that gets you the dream bag. So worth it! Some of the girls I know are on the year and half waiting list at the same boutique.

Oh wow Rami that's amazing, you totally deserve the good luck Very brave to turn the first B down but absolutely right to do so if it isn't what you love. I don't know if I would buckle under pressure haha. You are so right about the SA, so great you love yours so much!

WOW! Seems like we both like same color palettes. I even turned down my first Kelly in bleu atoll. lol My SA still laughs about it ..apparently, it was/is the hottest color of the season but it didn't work in my wardrobe. Why settle!

I agree Rami, seems like we do like same colour palettes. I admire your persistency and knowing so well of what you want exactly. Blue Atoll might work for me though but I alrdy have a blue Ciel. Way Too similar! But shhhhh I think I'm getting something blue this weekend! [emoji13]

Am sure it will be a nice surprise. I just turned down a gold b35 with GHW. Guess 40 is still better for me. Not sure if I have to start all over again by turning down. Anyway, Kat's surprise and suspense is killing me. [emoji317]
