We visited Strasbourg and no luck as a tourist asking for B/K/C. They refer you to Paris - where it is almost impossible to score an appointment with the online "lottery" - or your boutique in your home country. Cannot make a statement if speaking French helps, but it wouldn't make things worse I guess :(

I went to Lyon again last Saturday and was paired up with an amazing SA. I was looking for bags (Kelly 25 and mini Kelly mostly) and wallets (Kelly to-go, classic Kelly wallet, etc.). She showed me a few options of the smaller Kelly wallets and the Kelly portefeuille and I was really drawn to one of the shorter Kelly wallets except for the fact it had a noticeable scratch on it and since it was epsom it probably won’t be easily repairable. She also told me it was going to be pretty much impossible to get me a Kelly since there wasn’t enough time before I leave France (I was leaving in a week). I then asked if there were any Constances and after looking through her phone she told me it might be possible to offer me one in a red color, gold hardware in swift leather the following week before I leave. She noted me down on her phone and told her she would contact me the next week if there was a bag she could offer me. I happily agreed and went on to look at belts & ended up choosing a Kelly belt in Etoupe with RGHW. While she was looking for belts in my size in the back I saw that they had the Oz mules in the Beige Sarrazin color I’ve been interested in and bought those too. I left the store content and satisfied with my new belt and shoes thinking that even if I wasn’t offered a bag the next week I would still be happy with what I’ve purchased so far.

Flash forward to next week, the lovely SA let me know that she was able to get ahold of a bag to offer me and told me to go into the store on Friday. I was so excited and booked my train tickets for Friday right away. Today I took that train to the Lyon store and even though that SA was not in stores today, she put the bag on hold for me so I was able to get it with no issues. When it was unveiled to me I was so over the moon! Here it is: Constance 24 in Rouge H with GHW in the Veau Madame leather. I went in expecting it to be in Swift because that’s what the SA told me but I’m so glad it’s in the Madame calfskin since I’ve always preferred Epsom for structured bags like Constances and this leather seems to be the perfect in between of Swift and Epsom - softer and finer-grained than Epsom. I’m in love! I’ll be leaving France tomorrow and while I can say I’d have enjoyed my trip even if I hadn’t been offered this bag, I can’t deny that being able to go home carrying this beauty makes the experience just that much better :P:love:

This is my first Constance and I can now appreciate it’s craftsmanship and quality —just impeccable.

Congratulations on this beauty!!!
Do you remember the name of your SA?

I was there this morning - waited for store to open - no bag. I was shown a Verrou. My SA said B/K/C is very much relationship-based and they don't have anything (I assume she meant no B/K/C for new clients) until the next collection around Feb.
Also no lindy or roulis.

Leaving Lyon empty handed and with a hurt ego and heart. Went to the store late Friday and met a lovely SA. Thought we had hit it off cuz he gave me some “suggestions on what to do to get a bag..” or that’s what he said along those lines. He said come back Monday cuz it’ll be slower and I may have better luck. Saturday is just too busy. Also, he said he will be cashier on Sat, but will be working the floor on Monday. He said all this after I told him I was going to purchase a pair of boots. Monday comes.. he’s a cashier again. I asked if he can get someone to help me. All he said was that someone will come. Took about 20 min and someone came, but don’t think it was him that asked for someone to come help. No b/c/k.

If you come right when they open and have to queue up, after opening you will be assigned to an SA. If you’re assigned to someone young or on the right hand side when you enter, just know you won’t have any luck with bkc. The person that assigns a SA to you at the door I feel determines your chances. Monday I feel was even busier than Saturday.

Good luck to everyone that’s trying! Unless you’re planning to drop serious $$$$, I don’t think you’ll have luck here for bkc. This store is super busy.

Last week I went before they opened. There were about 8 people total waiting in line with me (I was 3). None of us was assigned an SA, except 1 client who was obviously a VVIP and got taken to the back room with LOTS of orange boxes moving in and out.

I think I know the SA you mentioned because the first time I went, he also gave me suggestions (thus me waiting in line in the morning on a week day). It wouldn't work.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. I feel like everyone rejected for appointments in Paris have been redirected to Lyon, hence the crowd and lack of stock recently :(

Agreed. So if anyone is planning to go to Lyon to just score a bkc, I don’t recommend that you do. I was just shocked to see how busy it was there. I am staying in Paris right now and hotel has let me know that they were expecting November to be slow, but it’s the opposite. November is just as busy during fashion week and they expect it to only be busier when Dec rolls around.

Also, was in Bordeaux. No luck there. Although, the SA did ask when I was leaving and when I told him in two days, he said he won’t be able to get me anything. So maybe if you’re staying longer, you may have a chance in Bordeaux?

Lyon is a great option. I went there for a 2 day trip 3 years ago and just walk in and was offered a B30 in black GHW. And they don't even play the game of 'hinting' for me to purchase other items. I did end up buying a CDC bracelet in Gold and GHW.
That was 3 years ago.
In the past year there has been less bags produced and many new Hermes 'fans' all desperate for a quota bag

Went to Lyon shop today, while visiting France for skiing. Shop was very busy, maybe as it’s last weekend before Christmas. Husband bought two pairs of shoes and pullover, and asked SA if she can make me happy with a nice bag. She politely said that after he pays, somebody else will come to talk about bags. Maybe after 20 minutes (we were just seating middle of the shop) one gentleman came, and asked for my preferences. I was really surprised as many people were around us, I said that I am looking for birkin 25/30 or Constance 18. He came back very fast, with a small orange box, and opened it in the middle of women section. It was Constance 18, noir with marbled buckle. I was very much surprised, asked for size 24 for comparison, but chose 18.
Not the best picture, but I still didn’t open it:) side note - husband has a lot of purchases from France boutiques, including Kelly from Paris store.
