Hermes Bolduc/Ribbon

For different perspective, none of my ribbons from my local boutique in US have ever had the year on them, they are all the "generic " H ribbon, so I would not assume that if the item didn't have a year specific ribbon, that it's not genuine... I've been purchasing in store since 2020, for reference.

My local US boutique doesn’t offer the year ribbons either.. an SA said each store has the option to order it, but most don’t because it can’t roll over to the next year.

Hi! I need some help. I just bought a mini evelyne online and have just noticed that the box came with a thicker ribbon as seem below. The ribbons I get from my local boutiques have always been the thinner one (below). So I am just checking if Hermes does package their boxes with wider ribbon like in the picture attached. It is about 3 cm, and seller said she purchased it from the boutique in Madrid. Thank you!!

The thicker ribbon is used for bags and larger items though not always. I assume it’s to keep the proportion correct with larger boxes as well as being sturdier.

Actually I got the thicker plain Bolduc on the box for my Volynka Mini Kelly from Paris this year, the other bag I bought was a mini Roulis which had the 2023 ribbon. My one other sandal purchase had the year ribbon well. All from FSH. I think the packer was just having some fun and I have to say prior to this, I have never seen or been given any thick Bolduc regardless of box size. So this is new to me and I'm definitely keeping it.

Yes, this is authentic. I wish my boutique in Toronto Canada would use thick ribbon, it think it looks so cute and bold on a smaller box like the box for a mini evie!
