I went to the store in Paris actually ready to buy or order one
fully expecting to be disappointed and got it!
I already have a beach towel, a coin purse, a bracelet and two scarves but it is not clear if this influenced my chances as I only mentioned them. They were all gifts so not actually purchased by me.

1. First time I walked into Hermes Dallas, they offered me a couple of Birkins. I wasn't interested in them and bought a Bolide instead. I've been offered other Birkins thereafter, but held out for the one I truly wanted, Chevre de Coromandel with GHW.

1. Got it within 3 hours upon inquiring about it. At first, I was shown several Kellys, but decided to wait. While having lunch nearby that afternoon, my SA called and I flew right back in the store.... it was at first sight.
