I am very worried indeed (and have been since I saw the initial pics) as these are my favourite colours, especially olive and chartreuse...[emoji33][emoji33][emoji33]
YES! I know this from a Press day photo which showed these golden olives (as opposed to the somber army green which has been the version of olive that's been fashionable for years). I am a big olive and chartreuse fan, too. I like the yellow undertone. I can't wait for these olive beauties to hit the boutiques. The last few years blue-greens have been in style. I certainly like blue-greens but I'm more than ready to move on.

Thank you so much to everybody for the pics and to @BBC 's kind brother for his sterling act of brotherly love!
Moma, I am going to mix plays and call it the "To be or not to be" scarf because of the elusiveness of the upcoming season.[emoji23]
Anyway, I checked out the artist on Insta and thought these were interesting:
Firstly, a close up of the stage scenery. Secondly, remember I commented that I thought the moon looked rather Mélièsque? He has a whole study of them! Finally, the whirling leaves, palm trees and curly clouds in MSND are quite favoured by him in other pieces. His stuff is worth looking at - much of it could be translateable to silk!

These are verging on Surrealist to me, especially the moon faces and then the hirsute person crawling into the foliage.
It's nice tho that H is honoring Great Britain via allusions to its literature. Literature is certainly a huge dimension of GB's culture.

His paintings are surrealistic, between Magritte, Dali and some faces on Fornasetti, IMO.

The people at H don’t seem too bothered about all those leaks most of which actually come from PR companies involved in local press days. The fact that the Sydney store was allowed to use the new scarves as part of their windows displays could also be an indication that they are not that obsessed with secrecy.

Not true. Every staff member from PR companies, even tech people 'on the floor' sign confidentiality clauses. Press days are = Press Days so it's officially sanctioned. H staff have been severely reprimanded for discussing, I always have to show Head of Scarves insta PD shots to make head of scarves believe it's actually public domain info. No idea about Sydney, who knows, could be SM's last month could be strategy but H will need control over all info.

Well, I just don't understand why H hasn't realized how much good publicity WE can provide here, with our enthusiasm, skills, sleuthing, networking, and buying power, LOLOL. And they could reward/entice each of us with a free scarf, right? :amuse:
