Elaine, if you don't know the opera, you should check it out. For the Pyramus and Thisbe skit, Britten spoofs all different styles of opera, including a mad scene with flute for Thisbe (played by FLUTE, LOL!).
PS - I am not really a nerd - this is the only Benjamin Britten work I like.

My homestore received some new scarves- no Acte III, a few Letter scarves, Selle Dignataire, and Jeu de Soie.

I was super excited to try the SdD scarf- the one with the orange border but that border absolutely did not work on me. I loved the rest of the scarf though.

Also, I know there was some question about 70s being available in the US- my store had several of the Cercle scarf.

I have some new Baobab Cat twillies on hold for when my SA gets back (CW 07). I think they will look great with Gold.

Still eagerly awaiting Acte III and the men’s scarves plus 140s.

Well, my SA called me yesterday and told me
That they just got CW7 of Acte III and I’ll be stopping by tomorrow and will ask to see it and post some pics here

But I wanted to share my new scarf: On A Summer Day. As @weN84 already mentioned, H online has the incorrect CW! They have mixed up the pics and CWs with the marine one. :facepalm:
This is CW 03 (ébène/bleu royal/orange). Note that the border reads as black, but is in fact ebony (thankfully quite difficult to tell). Also that the top of the “buildings” is not white, but a very light pink.
I’m in love with this scarf! The colours are exactly what I expressed I needed in a silk even before the start of the season. :hbeat::sunshine:

This is one of the prettiest and coolest scarves of the season! Truly, I wouldn't have thought much about this until YOU posted these mod shots! Thank you so much for these. You paired this 140 PERFECTLY with all of your wardrobe selections. This might possibly be (in my opinion) the best scarf of the season. I am blown away.

Any of you fabulous ladies thought about making a video of you ladies’ tying your beautiful scarves?? I went online to search but they are either confusing or not applicable to the 90 silk scarf. Most of them just teach the 3 basic styles but I see so many gorgeous knots and ways of tying a scarf just from this thread. (I’m asking this for my mom).

Got a couple of little goodies in from the Fall releases. First is one I won't see for a bit (and that is OK by me as it is 100F out and I don't really want to put it on for at least a few more months!). MrBcat and I agreed I will get this later in the year, and it goes in his "secret scarf present stash" (that he has learned not to wait 2 !!! years to give me something from)

Les Zebres CS bandana in rouge/blanc/noir (I got to try it on to make sure the cashmere was going to work on me)

And ok, even though CW 06 of Acte III ended up as a miss for me, I had no fear ONE of these was going to be a winner and yes indeed! Joining in the CW 12 crew today. The first 2 are full on camera pointed directly at me, white light from the window selfies for the best and truest color (and sadly, the clearest depiction of my wrinkles too) The third pic I took in a mirror reflection. You can see how it jacks with the apparent color of the scarf. IRL, it is saturated like the first 2 pics but I wanted to show how the angle, light and reflected image mess with the way the color appears.
