Here's a huge list of consignment stores

Just found another consignment in the Sacramento area:

Marla Sue's Consignment

I just went there today and needless to say, I was extremely disappointed. As usual I only go to consignment stores for shoes and purses (I never buy secondhand clothes), despite the secondary title being "designer consignment boutique" the bags were normally no-name and generic, cheap brands. :yucky:

I think the only "designer" about it is the Coach bags that were displayed behind the register counter (they look like Factory bags, def not Boutique bags). There were several name brand shoes though, but I didnt bother to try them on.

That's about it. I was pretty disappointed so I won't be going back there. :nogood:

Will continue to update this list if I run into another consignment store here, as usual. Hope that helps.

^^^I believe there is one in the eBay subforum, but perhaps it was more about selling than buying.

I know there are several in that subforum that will be helpful!

This one has info about consigning vs DIY selling:

but if you do a thread search for "consignment" you will find all sorts of buying stories- from good to bad! If you don't find anything specific enough, you can always start another thread!
