is Malleries a consignment/resale shop or do they host other sellers?
I'm kinda curious about them - they have a Marc Jacobs bag priced the same as retail (??)

Thanks for taking the time to hunt down these online stores - most helpful. I've put them in alphabetical order for ease - hope you don't mind. Coachlover1000 what do you think of this: If anyone has had experience with any of these stores, please note it in brackets after the name, e.g. what kind of products they generally offer, if they're any good or overpriced, customer service etc.

Thanks again coachlover1000 ;)

Malleries has many stores/sellers on their website. I've only ever heard great things about them, so if you want that Marc Jacobs bag I suggest you go for it! Who knows why it's the same price as retail? I guess that particular seller has higher prices? Maybe the bag is brand new? I don't know. Either way, Malleries is legit, and an amazing website.

Yes and No LOL ;)

Malleries is a host to other sellers with a strict acceptance policy, but only a few of the sellers offer consignment in their online boutique. When you see a sellers items there is usually a red announcement at the bottom if they are accepting consignors.

Here is a list of the Marc Jacobs they have in stock for all sellers: http://www.malleries.com/search.php?phrase=Marc+Jacobs&action=search_keyword

As far as pricing: Malleries has customers from all over the world, some in places where they are unable to obtain the items at retail stores. Sellers usually make their prices based on a combination of going rate and supply/demand, but occasionally there is a mistake here and there. You can use the "contact seller" function to ask them if they would consider an offer. :flowers:

I have seen counterfeit LV on Malleries, so be careful and do have your items authenticated. It could be innocent, an item accidentally got by an honest seller, but I have seen several counterfeits so it definitely isn't regulated as well as it should be.
