I just hung up the phone with my sa at BalNY. She told me they are not taking any names for the waiting lists. Wow! Has anyone else had this happen to them today? I have to go work out, and I'm leaving in five minutes, and I'll check the thread when I get back home. I am feeling a little confused...

AA, I don't think any of the new colors is exactly like the old ones, but JMO (based on limited info, I admit) is that Dolma is the closest family to put it in. I wouldn't put it with the past olive variations that have varying degrees of yellow in them, or with the brights or jewel tone greens. To me, BG looks brighter and deeper rose than '04 Rose. I love both!

^^^^I was able to waitlist.....however I am always apprehensive about waitlisting! I'll probably call back just to confirm (possibly tomorrow)! Mostly apprehensive because they kept asking if I had purchased from them before...and when I finished giving my list they sounded like they were going to hang up until I said 'Do you need my phone number'.
And based on the negative things people have said about BalNY I worry a little!

i'm very curious about turquoise... the description states a milkier aquamarine (which itself was a more subtle 05 turquoise) so that could mean it's a bit washed out? but they describe it as intense?lol too many conflicting adjectives lol and i wonder if magenta is closer to the pictures we've seen of the bags (sort of paler) or the color corrected swatch which is alot deeper/darker

Marie: The SA I spoke with described it as being a light magenta...and said it wouldn't make sense to get both '08 BG & this magenta (in addition to have the '05 versions). They said it would be too much pink and too similar!
But who knows...they apparently don't know much about the new green either LOL I'm thinking it's going to be a wait and see game!

PP, forgot to say thank you for posting! I appreciate it, and I love the sahara, turquoise, bg, and maybe the green - I liked the green in the first photo, before it was photoshopped - now it appears that it is a darker green...I think a yellow first would be nice - a smaller bag with a big jolt of color! Regardless, this will give us much to think about over the next months, and we will all be thinking and pondering over the colors.

Shasta I'm blonde, and I've always been told that yellow suits me. I definately think you can pull off the yellow
