I dyed my hair blue yesterday but instead of it coming out that colour it lookes more like black...this is the first time i have dyed my hair and i want the colour to be lighter without having to redye it
Does anyone have any tips??

Supposedly if you put dishwashing detergent in your shampoo and then use that on your dyed hair then it'll lighten it by about 2 shades? I've never tried it but my friends have said it works. They used it on brown though, so I'm not sure about blue/black.

Hmmm...yh i've heard that too but apparently that makes your hair very dry and it was also used on brunette hair

i tryed the washing detergent and it didnt do anything, i think it jus wrks for brunnette hair and i also tryd the lemon in the sun but i think that is also jst for bruntette hair

If it's still bothering you, I would try going to a salon, or checking out a beauty supply store and see what they have to wash out some of the color.
