Help with Whiplash Tatum Tote

I actually think I am going to. I took it to my local store last weekend because my SA wanted to see it when it arrived. When I pulled it out of the dust bag, all the SA were ogling it. Then my best friend started obsessing over that little robot key fob and held it up to my tatum. It looks SO cute on the bag and aside from the feather as an embellishment for the bags, which I obviously liked, I'm not usually one for fobs on my bags. But this one just looks so dang cool. I ended up buying it under the assumption I am keeping the tatum, but I haven't actually removed the tags yet.

My store says these are "in transit" she thinks they are in boxes in the back and is going to hold one for me to look at. She knows my taste and thinks from the measurements that it is a large bag. Hoping it is not too big. I am only 5'3"

Are you talking about the new East West Tatum Totes that come in 4 colours?? My store has them already. So lovely. I tried them on and they are a perfect size for me. I'm small like you, 1.6 metres. So around 5 feet 2 inches.

I just received mine and my fears are put to rest. It iis a smaller but perfect tote for me at 5'3". The measurements are misleading for sure as they might have been taken at full stretch. I wanted an SV creation that was not so edgy that it would be out of style next year and this is it. Its a lovely, well made easy to carry full zip bag. It stays on my shoulder well. Wish the feather fob came with itbutbeyond that the black with light gold is smashing!

But the taxi-tote-style Tatum is a winner across the board. It has the design elements that makes the Tatum totes so attractive and appealing and unique. You can slip it onto your shoulder OR the crook of your arm OR yo hands. Keep it! Use it! Love it! I'd rather have a bag that is both great looking and functional than one with a feather fob.

Totaly agree with everything you said! I can knock it around a bit which I don't do and don't have to worry about it!

I really like the east-west tatum totes too. But I have my Dakotahs and I think they are too similar in style so I am not going to get one. But they are beautiful. Congrats to all who are getting one. :smile1:

The Whipstitch Tatum Tote is not a large bag by any means. I think it will suit your frame perfectly. Check it out when it goes on display.
