After looking at both looses stones and also rings, one ring captured my heart... it was completely different than what I pictured but as soon as I saw it, I knew. As @BigAkoya and @Icyjade have said, sometimes the gem finds you!

@BigAkoya was looking for a cushion and then this oval stold my heart!

Here is the link to the latest Oscar Heyman pieces. If you're on their list, they usually send a hardcopy as well (I think you can email them to get on the list). I like the emerald ring on page 4. Just FYI in case you are interested. It doesn't say that it's Colombian, be sure to check. It may be Zambian or Brazilian, but I doubt Heyman would sell Brazilian emeralds...maybe Zambian, but I kind of doubt that too. It has a lab report. You can click on the + sign to get specs and prices.

Oh my... what gorgeous eye candy!! Thank you for sending this on. That ring on page 4. Wow!!!!!!!

I like this one too. It's $90K, and you can click on the + signto the left of the photo to see the diamond specs. As for color, you need to see an emerald live. I've tried using photos and the green is never the same, so I never buy online. Emeralds are really tough to buy online. If you are interested in this ring, you could ask for the cert and see if it's Colombian and any treatment. Actually, now that I looked at it again, it might be Zambian and not Colombian. There is a lot of blue/gray in that emerald, but it could be the photo. To give you an idea of size, it says the emerald is 5.73cts. My emerald ring I posted above is 5.47cts, so it's close in size, except this stone is more rectangle. Good emeralds over 5cts are hard to find. You see a lot in the 1-3ct range. By the way, on the prongs... you may love the prongs, but I don't. Heyman can redo the prongs for you. It's all preference, but I like pure platinum, no YG, and I am not a fan of double-claw prongs. But again.. it's all preference. I just wanted to point it out for your awareness.

I love emeralds! Now you make me want to make another emerald piece, but I don't need another ring.
I hope you get an emerald... I bet you just can't have one! Emeralds are addicting.

I agree about the prongs on those rings. They look weird.
My jeweler persuaded me to buy a Tourmaline set in platinum as a cocktail ring as it is much more affordable and less fragile.
However, it does not compare in any ways to the beauty of a good emerald, imho.
The Ethiopian emerald posted in this thread is really, really pretty, imho.
I read somewhere that there is a mine in the USA. I might start prospecting as a hobby
