HELP with Louis Vuitton bag PLEASE!

Hi guys,

I have bought a vintage Louis Vuitton bag and the handles are so black! How do I clean them?

I tried using a magic eraser but it's still really black, and seems to be taking forever!

When will be the right time to condition it?

That's just how the raw untreated leather ages over time from the oils on your hands, lotion, sun, etc. All you can do is just wipe it with an alcohol-free baby wipe, etc to clean off any actual surface dirt and if the leather seems dry, you can use a leather conditioner. If you hate the darker look, the only thing you can really do is to have the handles replaced by Louis Vuitton.

If you really don't like it you could have the handles replaced at your local lv

You could also wrap a scarf/ves around the handles if you like that look too

I agree with others. Take the bag to Louis Vuitton and ask about replacing the handles.
