Help with length of necklaces

with the two necklaces. but i am unsure of what length i should get for the chains to go with the charms that i've bought. i have 16" & 18", but it doesn't look right... i think her shorter necklace is 16", however her longer necklace looks much longer than 18", can anyone help?

hers looks like its a 16 inch for the shorter and possibly 20 inches for the longer necklace, Maybe try it with differing lengths that work for your proportions so a 15 and an 18, or an 18 and 24 inch depending on your height. I know that an 18 inch necklace looks longer on my sister (5'2) then on me (5'10)

The shorter one looks to be 16 inches and the longer one is probably a 20 inch.

The shorter one is 16", the longer one is about 24 inches.

think of it this way, every two inches longer, it will hang 1 inch lower. it looks about 3 inches lower so if the top is 16 inches the longer would probably be 22 inches. I think her shorter one may be 15 inches though? she has a tiny neck so i'm betting on 15 and 20.
