Help! What do I wear for a Monte Carlo themed party?

Hi! I’m attending my sons elementary school Casino Night Gala and the invite says -
“Monte Carlo Casino Chic Attire Encouraged...Dress to Kill”

This sounds like such a fun theme...but I have no idea what this means! What type of dress? Please help...I appreciate any and all suggestions! Also I am thinking of using Rent the Runway....Thank you!

Ideas that pop into my head are a long black fitted dress or a chic jumpsuit - both with lots of diamonds/shine.

I’m totally guessing though. When I drop by the casino jogging pants seem to be the norm...

Imagine being in a Bond movie. Personally, I would go in le smoking and a lot of jewellery, make up and perfume. It's meant to be camp. Have fun!

What a fun theme!! I’d do super glam, black, diamonds and killer heels. Whomever said Bond like is dead on.

I'd go with a fun glam dress or gown with blingy jewelry! Could add a fur (real or faux) depending on the weather. Strass shoes. You can be a little over the top if you want to

I would do the Monte Carlo of the 1920s flapper look, with diamonds and long strands of pearls. I would go glamorous vs. Vegas. Think Great Gatsby. I love that era and you will rock with that look.

Definitely, think James Bond movies. To me it's obvious that for whatever reason they just didn't want to say "James Bond". Va-va-voom dress, heels, jewels, great hair and make-up. FUN! Please give us update on the event!

Thank you SO much for all your help! I ended up getting a black jumpsuit by a brand I had never worn before but loved. It was a very stretchy, comfortable fabric. I wore big sparkly earrings and bracelets. Sadly I forgot to take a pic of me all dressed up but here is one when I tried it on.
