Hmmm, in looking at one on the Saks Off Fifth website, it looks like no mechanism is involved. The flap just catches into the protruding bar but no method of keep it truly secure.

Back it goes, then. Shame, because the quality is OUTSTANDING. Why they came up with such an impractical clasp...
I mean, don't get me wrong, there's an interior zipper that keeps everything secure, but if opening the main clasp is such a task, not worth it.
