Help please!

Ok so I'm still a newbee to the FP bags. I have only had MFF bags for a while and have recently found my new love Courtenay. I saw on some post that apple guard is good for all leather bags? Will it also help protect her from rain? I don't want to hurt my beautiful bag!

I can't speak personally for the Courtenay, but on my can of apple it's stated to make the item water repellent . I also use the apple on my dd ugg boots and so far so good on those when she wears them on the rain .
