I can't wait to see this bag in store, thanks to you Keely (hope I got your name right, pls correct me if not).
What about the smell? In another thread people are complaining about strong chemical smell of Empretine leather. I guess it depends on the batch or where it has been made. Where is your made in?

Name correct. Once you see it in person you will fall in love. The bag to me does not smell bad. But you don’t get the wonderful leather smell either. That’s the one disappointment with LV leather. I have a tan Chloe bag I adore and it smells so wonderful like luxurious leather. My bag was made in France, I don’t recall the exact week but it was a January 2021.

You are so welcome!! Please keep me posted after you go to the store!
Hi Keely, me again :, I am so sorry, have more questions: When you fill the bag, say normal not to the brim, does it become saggy at the bottom? I mean the bottom hanging down a bit. I have seen that happening with the GM model.
And the weight: how heavy is it?
Thank you so much

FedEx delivered a bag orgaiser from Samorga for my PM in black bicolor 15 minutes ago  2 weeks delivery time to Europe:tup:

In my opinion the bag is so structured and small that it will likely never sag without an organiser. When I put the orgaiser in, it will definitely never sag! Very solid base!

I bought the 2mm organiser in color Cherry, an almost perfect match to the interior color of the bag. I primarily bought it to protect the interior...I am OCD:lol:

Hello! I do not carry a ton in my bag so I have experienced no sagging. I guess with any bag if you overfill it or put really heavy items in, it would sag. Like if I planned to use it to carry around a bunch of water bottles, probably would sag. The bag in my opinion is not too heavy. It’s not as light as an LV canvas but it feels fine on my arm or shoulder. I used it shopping recently and found no discomfort. The other wonderful thing is you can use it on arm, shoulder or crossbody!

I like hearing the bag is structured and will never sag, love me a good structured bag!
Bicolour is very pretty, particularly because in the Bicolor model the motif is a bit smaller in scale than the giant monograms on solid colour models. It means they haven't cut through the flowers. The front is symmetrical (photos below). I wish they had done that for the onthego solid colour MM too.

You can find symmetrical ones, I saw a GM at the store that did not have the flowers “cut”. But it is pretty rare.
You could ask your SA when they expect the stock deliveries and try your luck.

You know, GM is bigger, it has space for giant monograms. True there are symmetrical GM ones out there but not MMs except the bicolour because the monogram on bicoular is less giant. The issue with solid colour MM is that, compared to GM, the dimensions of the bag itself are reduced but the monograms have the exact size and distance from each other as is on the GM. There is no way MM can fit all of them with out the cut.

That is what I meant with the previous post, that the bicoular has smaller giant motif. Guess they worked out it will not look good to cut a monogram that stands out that much, so the only way is to reduce their scale and distance in order to avoid having to cut them.

The good thing is all MMs look almost (not 100%) the same with regards to where the cut is. Where as GMs can vary a lot.

Having said that, MM solid colour is still a beatifull bag and this is not a deal breaker for me (wish it were:biggrin:)

Hi Keely, hope you are well

I am going to check out the PM onthego tomorrow. Do you find the bag boxy when carried crossbody? Is it comfortable carried on the shoulder (not sliding off?). I read some one has returned the bag twice for that reason. I don't want a biased feel when I go in store tomorrow. Thank you so much

Hello! I have not worn it as crossbody as I prefer the look better as a shoulder bag or using the handles. When I carry a crossbody, I prefer a smaller bag (like pochette accessories size) so for me, although the PM is small, it’s still too big as a crossbody. As far as falling off the shoulder, I have not experienced this as it seems to stay rather comfortably. I’ve carried it quite a bit recently and have no complaints. I’m sure once you are in the store and try it on, you will know if it’s right for you. Enjoy your trip and viewing all the beautiful bags! Keep me informed on what you decide.
