I have had this a year now and can’t bring myself to use it as a toiletry / cosmetic bag because of the fabric interior. I wish I could just throw my makeup in it. Someone help

I get your nerves, I had a closed powder compact inside my mini peekaboo ( w a cream interior) and some powder leaked out! Thankfully it came off easily but yeah never again.
Would a bag organiser help?

Can you add a wrist strap or loop to the zipper and use as a clutch or errand pouch?
It might not be glamorous, but what about using little ziploc bags to organise your makeup, and that would mitigate the risk of spillage and stains etc?
Maybe use it in a bigger bag as a catchall for keys, sunnies, card case, etc… I do this in bags to keep things more organized and reduce risk of things falling out

Just go for it and use it, it’s what it’s for. Think of Phoebe and the brown Christmas trees and help it fulfill its destiny 
It's really beautiful! I know what you mean about just throwing makeup loosely in a canvas toiletry! Lol. If I owned that beautiful piece I would use it as a catch all for other items and place my makeup in its own separate pouch. I would also see if I could convert it into a bag without altering it as well. I'm not familiar with that Fendace case to know what options you have for converting but I do love that Fendace line! 
I’m trying to tell myself as long as I work hard to keep the outside pretty I need to let the inside do it’s job.
I think just use it...that's what you got it for....I can't recall anything spilling in my makeup case. do you carry liquid products?
