I'm really struggling to find a beautiful & soft , light grey or black cashmere beanie - catch - it must have a super fluffy and large FAUX fur pom.

All the beanies with faux fur poms are either acrylic or wool. And all cashmere are real fur.

Just purchase the hat and Pom separately and attach. All it takes is a few stitches with needle and matching thread and Bob's your uncle. You can find beautiful, faux fur poms in all sizes on Etsy.com
