Hi there, I really love Sophia and Lindsey. There is another older bag in a similar design you may want to check out...Madison embellished leather large sophia #16343. All can be used on the arm and have an additional strap that clips on use on shoulder. Good luck!:smile1:

Thanks! That is what I love about the Sophia, this bag looks like it could be carried with some of my dresses, OR my jeans & a nice top. I like the bags that can look casual and dressy too.

I love LOVE the Ashley bags and the best part is that you could have some luck at score one brand new at the outlet rather than looking for one online...the leather on the Ashley is thick and sooo beautiful. The only DOWNFALL with the Ashley is that it can be hard to get in and out easily.

I would recommended the Sophia bag over the Ashley b/c of that issue with the Ashley. Since toucan handle the speedy 25 I think the regular/small Sophia will be perfect for you. It's a classic bag, can be a handheld, can be a shoulder bag, and the leather on the Sophia is awesome!! The Sophia bag is soooo easy to get things in and out!

Well, I haven't found my HG black leather bag yet, but just to throw something else into the mix:

I like my little black leather MFF tote just fine. Not too much pizazz, could be decorated I guess. I like the shape of small simple totes. It has a separating zipper which bothers some people.

Then I have a black woven kristen fashion wristlet with a chain, which I love for a clutch. For a wristlet, I strap in my wallet, keys and phone case to make sure they don't fall out. Not ideal. I still love that wristlet.

You might be able to get both an MFF tote and a wristlet for $200.

My favorite black bag is a fabric monochromatic siggy poppy cinch. May not be the most convenient everyday bag. Not leather.

Then there is the Carly, which comes in black leather. Lots of hardware on the side, not sure what color. Mine is brown mono siggy. It's my favorite bag.

I have a sophia in a different color. Super roomy, not my favorite shape. Very popular.

You might want to google "coach black leather bag" images to see what you like (if you haven't done that already).

Notice there is not a lot of support for the Maggie so far.....

I have two black bags and I love them both - gathered Sophia and spectator Erin. They both cost quite a bit but you might be able to find them on ebay for around $200.

my fav black bag is a oldie from the legacy line. this bag is perfect all around. Legacy gracia satchel? i believe that is the name
