Help I need to decide what color for the only Birkin I may ever own !

I'm also team Gold. I don't even like the colour normally, In fact I didn't have any brown/ caramel colours in my wardrobe before I got my Gold Kelly. There is just something so gorgeous and rich about the colour. It goes beautifully with white (which I wear a lot) and bright enough to go nicely with black. Then of course looks fabulous with any colours that go with caramel. Its delicious! Part of me wishes I'd asked for a gold Birkin instead of Kelly, as a gold Birkin is really classic and chic. Now waiting on a black special order Birkin, but in the future I'd love a Berenia Faubourg Birkin. Good luck :)

Although chai is very beautiful but if it was my only Birkin I’d go with gold for sure. Gold is timeless and classic. I was ecstatic when I got my B25 gold on gold last month and still over the moon now. Now since I got the gold already I don’t mind to add the chai to my collection. :P

Good luck with your decision!

Ok so I had posted something about this . I was thinking about gold at the time but now I don’t know . A lot of people have told me there are nicer colors ? What others might be a better choice that are pretty maybe grid Meyer with phw or a different brown or gray ?

I might be biased because I love black but a black Birkin with palladium, gold, rose gold, or whichever hardware is the most chic for me. I know for sure I can never go wrong with a black Birkin, but that pertains to my lifestyle and wardrobe.

Another “neutral” I consider is rouge H. A very classic Hermès color that can be a pop but subdued enough to be a neutral. It goes well with everything and can sometimes even appear dark brown/dark wood.

Gold, Noir, and Rouge H I think are colors you’ll never go wrong with:)

Thanks very helpful . I’ll look up the rouge too. :)

Did you like the initial 2 colors because they spoke to you the most? Just because others have told you there are nicer colors doesn’t mean it’s the color that will work best for you. I think people refer to better colors at Hermes because H is also known for bright vibrant colors vs their classic neutrals. You should stick with what you love and don’t let others opinions sway you too much. I vote for gold as it’s a beautiful timeless neutral that works for everything, at least for me. If you’re looking for grays, I know etoupe is very popular, however it can be muddy for some people. I vote for etain, grey meyer, grey asphalt and some other ones that may not be in current production. Not sure if you’re getting the bag direct from the store, if not some seasonal colors can be found reseller. Good luck with your decision.
