^^^ Can't believe the a few years ago, these bags were in the $20K or less range. Still remember when a matte croc birkin was about $12K and I thought I was paying through the nose for a bag!!! :shocked:

These days, they're more than double!!! A 35cm matte kelly is priced the same as a 35cm shiny birkin!!! And they cost as much as a car! :wtf:

Rene H, this would be my grail bag, to me the porosus looks better, as the nilo looks like a tween (semi-shine,semi matte). 19K is indeed a hefty premium for the porosus but if you were considering the reseller-route then the 5k delta should not deter you....JMHO.........
Patience is a virtue, but I would have great difficulty practicing that.........

I dont think there is a croc age (well maybe over 21). I'm 35 and act 25 sometimes, since I've never been married and still hit the bar scene on ocassion like a college kid, but I've become obsessed with croc. Sorry to ask your age, I hope your not offended.

Oh no, not at all! I didn't realize at first that my earlier comment might have sounded like "I'm too young for croc" so I'm glad I clarified. Cause, yeah, I am not too young and I'd carry it in a heartbeat if I could--I'm just not in the position to buy a $40K bag today ;)

I'm headed to Toronto mid Sept (toronto International Film Festival) and I of course will be carving time out for H. So I'll be on the look out for croc. Maybe they will have my dream bag (I know its equal to winning the lottery in probability) and then I can stop obsessing about buying one of these from the reseller. - Or better yet, I will win the lottery and buy both the nilo and the poros from the reseller. :graucho:
