Hello fellow purse-addicts,

I'm in desperate need of a large fabulous black bag (preferably leather) for my spring break trip to the city, but being a poor college student, I can't really afford anything above 150. I've longed for a marc, but sadly, I haven't been able to find anything less than 300... *sighs*

Could you girls give me some suggestions?

You should hit up your local TJ Maxx. They are bound to have something nice in your price range and that you like. They have bags that range from $8 to $300 depending on what you are looking for. Alot of the nicer bags are from Italy and although they are not well known designers, they are leather and the quality of craftsmanship shows.

Do you have any outlets near you? I pretty much stick to Coach so, of coarse, I have to suggest my favorite brand...Coach. If you live near a Coach outlet, you could most likely get a really nice medium to large sized leather bag plus, maybe even some accessories too for your price range. The Coach outlets always seem to have something for everyone no matter what your price range is.

I definitely saw a lot of bags that i really liked, I guess I just didn't know where to look!
