Help desperately needed! Buying a Cartier Love bracelet

OP I totally totally agree with all the other girls here... I think you should get the one you want!

It's a GORGEOUS piece and you've said all the "right" things here - you've wanted this one for 8 years so it's not an impulse buy, you've saved enough to buy it outright so you're not going into debt to buy a luxury item, you're not compromising your future savings because you're up to date on those... of course the most responsible thing to do is put all your extra money in savings but OMG we DO only live once too!!!

This bracelet will only get more and more expensive and while that's not really a good reason to buy one (otherwise we'd all buy EVERYTHING right now!), it's a truth that isn't going to change... and so if you've wanted it for this long and saved I think you totally deserve it!!

As for diamonds vs non.... I rushed into my love a little bit.... I ended up buying the plain gold one which I DO love, but kind of wish I'd splurged and don't want a 2nd one so now I'm kind of stuck - but it seemed like so much at the time!!! I do agree with you BF on that one but honestly I didn't WANT it badly enough to spend the money - and they seemed so small! But I do think it is SO pretty now and if you do think they're worth it, then I think it's a good decision! Not getting the diamonds allowed me to buy something else I wanted (VCA bracelet to go with it!) so it was probably a good decision for me, especially since I hadn't actually lusted over it for nearly as long as you! But I absolutely think that when it comes to things like this you shouldn't settle or you'll wish you had it forever!

GO FOR IT!!!

That was the reason why I chose the one with 4 diamonds...it's truly the best of both worlds. You get a bit of sparkly bling and still have the classic Cartier Love Bracelet appearance. Absolutely love that design!

No way - get what you want now. You will regret getting the plain Love, given you've been lusting after the diamond Love for 8 years! Plus, if you don't get it now, you'll just want one in a few years and it'll be even more expensive then - so really, you're saving

If you can afford it comfortably (and it sounds like you can), then go for it. It is a lifetime piece of jewelry that won't go out of fashion. I love mine and have never regretted buying it.
