I sold my Coach Legacy Turnlock Tote because it weighed a ton empty. The Mulberry Bayswater can get to be pretty heavy too.
there's a very nice MK Collection Rehearsal bag on ebay right now. Tempting but I know it's big and heavy so I'm staying away.
Burberry in leather. Have you tried carrying their new leather belt bag? Beautiful bag but it's a torture carrying it.
Chloé Marcie MM. Had to sell it, to heavy for me. So sad because I loved the bag 
Leather Dooney and Bourke bags are so heavy that I switched years ago to Louis Vuitton canvas and been buying them ever since.

It would really help this thread to list actual weights of bags."Heavy" and "light'" are very subjective and vary from person to person.

Alexander wang Rocco - that one’s a workout but can’t give it away as it was a gift.

For me 3 pounds empty is my limit. I don't know how much bags that are too heavy for me weigh because I don't own them anymore. One of these was the Coach Anna Sui dragonfly duffle. Not only was it heavy but the tassel pulled it to one side. I think the other Anna Sui duffle was even heavier.
Coach Legacy Medium Lily. I bought it off ebay and as soon as I picked it up, I realized it wasn't a keeper. I can't imagine how heavy the large Lily is.
You are Absolutely right! My MIL was gifted a Burberry leather bag at Xmas and I was shocked! It would destroy my shoulders if I had to wear that!
