Prada leather bags!! I love their leather but had to sell all off.

Chanel Jumbo is a close second for me.

Chanel Boy
I wonder how someone can use it as a daily bag.

LV Capucines MM. It's heavy enough on its own, and I put organizers in it to help it keep its shape--it's really too heavy to carry once those are in.

Chanel jumbo.

So beautiful, but so damn heavy.
OMG! I have Chanel SF & DF jumbos and never find them heavy at all. Same for my Chanel New Medium Boy.

I’ve been scared off of buying an LV Capucines because of all the reports of them being heavy.

But, I have to agree with @Chinese Warrior. Prada leather bags are ridiculously heavy. I think it may be the hardware? I have never felt a bag was heavy except for this one Prada calfskin bag I bought a few years ago. I absolutely adored it. I ended up selling it within months because every time I wore it my back ached and my back never aches! The bag wasn’t that big. Only 12.5" x 8.5" x 5.5” which is about the size of many of my other bags. But still... it killed my back and had to go! (I still miss it though. It was such a cute shape and a great neutral.)932A74B6-4E6B-4F16-9537-B5D3E1DB61BC.jpeg

That's a shame--it's a really cute bag!

I just tried the new Hermès 24/24 29 cm and thought it was pretty heavy. I don’t understand why. Maybe a bit of lead here and there?
I think the just the hardware and the bar at the opening might make up 1/4 of the weight :wtf:
It’s all relative. I’m used to carrying a K25 or B25, with an ostrich B30 being the heaviest, so to me this bag was too much. It’s a shame because it’s an interesting design.
If you can run laps around the parking lot with a Clemence B35 full of groceries, maybe you will carry this one on your pinky.

Dooney and Bourke Florentine Medium Satchel. Gorgeous bag, but I think it was roughly three pounds before loading it up. I had the small version and it was heavy enough. Sold it.
I do own the large Amelie tote and it's over 2 pounds empty. It's lighter ta
Agree about the florentine satchel. So I orderd a lovely big wide strap for it. The strap came, really beautiful BUT it was wide leather and weighed one pound on its own. Still laughng about that.
Dooney and Bourke Florentine Medium Satchel is a gorgeous bag, but I think it was roughly three pounds before loading it up. I had the small version and it was heavy enough. Sold it. Sold my pebbled leather Kendall, but it was also ridiculously heavy after I added a strap for crossbody wear.
I do own the large Amelie tote and it's over 2 pounds empty. It's lighter than the small Florentine satchel. Some of Dooney and Bourke's newer "Florentine" offerings are Florentine Nuovo. Gradually, they dropped the "Nuovo" designation, I wouldn't exactly say bait-and-switch, but not all Florentine is created equal. (QVC never used that designation when advertising DB products. There's other reasons for that. I think they can't always use the official DB branding." I think what would help is if DB widened their straps. They could be a little wider and they are even more narrow on the made-for-Q product.

Anything MK saffiano. His items are heavy before you even put things inside.
Though I do buy them, MK Mercer bags in large are heavy prefill - & I would list the weight if I knew. Get this - I was told by a MK rep online chat representative that they were not allowed to give out the weight, that I would have to call MK for that information. Crazy!!!!

I had few heavy handbags that I had given to siblings, (Prada full calf leather tote, MJ Stams, Mulberry Bayswater).

All this 3 bags are heavier than my Birkin 35 in chèvre leather. I was so tempted to get B35 in Togo or Clemence but didn’t buy because I heard a lot of ppl mentioned how heavy it is.
Even in chèvre leather which is considered light weight compared to Togo or Clemence, the bag is still quite heavy when stuffed.

BUT....the heaviest bag i owned was Givenchy Antigona Med size in smooth leather. I only carried the Antigona twice and it was in my room untouched for more than a year before I decided to give it to one of my sibling. I still love the look of Antigona and still debating if I should buy another Antigona in small size this time.

My Chanel Jumbo Double Flap in Lambskin is quite heavy as well. Heavier than my old Chanel Lambskin Maxi single flap!

There are few bags I have admired for awhile but hesitant to buy because of the weight. They are Chloe Faye and LV SC Speedy.
