I wanted to take advantage of the sale too, but I chickened out. I have not seen pictures of the purse (not stock pictures). I am not familiar with the brand or the quality of the purses. I hope everybody that brought a purse that weekend got a beautiful purse. I would like to buy one of their purses in the future.
Is it just me or does the bay and the bon's prices for HH stuff are not selling at the prices they used to? Is it that the demand isn't there any more?
I noticed that too; At least in HH (I don't really 'follow' other brands-not like that anyway) demand & interest seem to have dropped dramatically unless something very rare or unique comes up. The reasons why are as varied as each of us here I'm sure. In my case I had to come to terms with the fact that I can no longer justify my quasi-addiction to leather as a financial priority. Much as I would like to
But that goes for a whole slew of other things gradually being removed from my family's budget... Sort of like our household's own personal sequester...lol On that note-I did succumb to sale temptation last weekend & bought a new black Ramone w/the 2 tone studs & a silver iridescent keyfob. I'm a little surprised no one else has bought/posted any new things but with the bitter aftertaste of last year's "Customer Service" issues still lingering maybe not so much...

So the leather on my pilot is gorgeous. It's like the old style btw w/divider and card slots. I had a hardware issue and they're supposed to send a replacement & shipping label. They were very responsive on email on Friday and I need to follow up to see if it's on the way to me today.

I bought during the sale, in part using an old GC that was honored. I ordered on Friday and got my package the following Wednesday. They forgot to send the free silver tote, but shipped it (free) immediately when I emailed CS.
I bought the Turnlocks Camera Bag in vermillion and violet. Although there are some minor issues with some of the details on the key fob, the bag is very, very pretty and the quality is high. The colors are beautiful...saturated and bright.
I also got the sapphire Ramone with white studs, the dijon Ramone with grey studs, and the iridescent Celina.
I'm really happy with everything...the colors are genius.

oh yay - good to hear about the successes. It is tough to order for me - stuff gets shipped to WAshington state - I have to drive down to get it and then if there is something wrong I have to try to contact CS from the parking lot. If i bring it back into Canada then I have to pay all the duties/taxes etc and then return ship from inside Canada which is more expensive.
That's why it's sooo important to me that the initial shipping is good - i.e. that they send the right thing in good condition.

My replacement pilot won't be here til the end of next week so here are pics of the first pilot to give you and idea of texture and construction. Unfortunately they DO NOT show how iridescent it is. The color shifts are much more obvious even in dim light and I don't have great sunlight today.
I'd say it's very similar to the chalk pilot in feel except that the leather is a bit thicker and so makes it seem a bit puffier.

That's so pretty, moth. I love the iridescence. Does the front pocket stay puffed out like that without stuffing? I didn't like how the old versions were all caved in on themselves like dried apples.

aaahhh, gorgeous Moth! Question- when you emailed HH CS, how long did you have to wait for response?
The front pocket is stuffed with tissue so I think it'll keep that shape a bit easier.
They've been really responsive - anywhere from 15 min to next day.
Moth- I like the leather and am glad to see that HH reverted to the original set up with the pockets in the middle (this helped me stay more organized. Are the little studs HH stamped?
