I say return, too. You won't be happy carrying it and it's so hard to resell these days that you're better off coming away from this one at break-even, if you can.

Thanks for the input. I'll check it out tomorrow in sunlight and see what I think. Don't think the seller was being scammy - I think we may have diff ideas about euc.

I haven't had a chance to deal with the bag yet. The DH says it doesn't look that bad and that I should keep it.

Has anyone bought any of the new HH stuff yet? i was just wondering if they were shipping on time and how the quality looks.

What type of leather is used on the Havana hobo? I am interested in buying the purse on the Hayden-Harnett website. I have never brought a purse from them before. Do you think the new higher prices reflect the quality of the pure or just a markup? Thanks in advance to anybody who can answer some or all of these questions.

SweetDaisy - here's a video from when they originally launched the Made in NYC collection. The company is under different ownership than when the video was made but I think it's supposed to be the same idea- that all the materials are sourced in the US and that it's made in a factory in NYC. I think the Havana is cow. You could try asking on the Official HH thread or over on fb.

eta - I don't myself have anything from this collection but you might check the reveal and review thread and search for "collection".
