1. $70: A BN clutch wallet in Oyster with a tiny amount of "price tag damage" on the inside of the primary flap (looks like a sticker pulled a fine layer off the delicate leather). This is my first HH metallic and it is SO scrummy that I'm now fascinated with Oyster (and eyeing pictures of her cousin, Moonbeam, as well). Let's see how long she stays clean.
2. $70 + free shipping: A Gaza hobo in an indistinct color (poor pictures). Could be Taupe, could be Bark? I think she's Taupe because the seller called her "gray" in the item description. My first Gaza and I haven't seen one in real life, but I have a Margot in the shrunken lamb skin and love it (she's now retired for fear she'll wear out before I'm 80). I wanted a Hudson hobo but the Gaza hobo appears to be about the same size and shape, though I do love the clean lines of the Hudson more. Some day, my pretty. In cocoa.
Don't forget to periodically check for listings with spelling permutations, which is how I found the oyster wallet!

Which hobo and what color? Yay!i was on Rebecca Minkoff for 3 months. last week i was looking for a large bag that i can rock and roll on my summer vacation. eyed on a HH hobo and pulled my trigger. am anticipating its arrival - my first HH!

I like the shape of the Yves...am wondering when it came out, as I don't remember it in the HH heydays of 2006-2009.
Magic Dot is highly textured, isn't it? Just curious, if anyone as seen it in real life, what did you think? The pictures remind me of manta ray skin. (Strange, I know...)

I think Magic Dot was from fall 2010ish. That's when I get hits for magic dot when I search my old emails. Here's a thread with come great photos of the smaller versio - the Lilly.

Thanks Mothbeast! I fall into this sticky place of kinda liking, kinda not liking the magic dot look. It's definitely edgy.
The Gaza Hobo arrived today (definitely taupe)...my what a beautiful shape, weight, and strap! If only it didn't REEK of cigarette smoke!!! GAH!
I've read several tPF threads on things to try to de-smokify it. Luckily I have a small bag of charcoal from the garden center and all the cat litter a cat could want to p*** in...which would smell better than this bag right now. But I'm kind of excited...I like having a project. May even be tempted to wash it without immersing it...I have a big bottle of Leather CPR recommended by another TPFer to resuscitate it with afterward.
